We love this place! It is a home away from home but without the everyday life activities and chaos. It's a place of peace and relaxation where our family can reconnect. First, it is clean, comfortable and family friendly with plenty of decent movies, reading material and games (we had a family ping pong tournament-Mom won). The kitchen is spacious and open to the living room so everyone is always within conversation range. And the fireplace is so nice on chilly nights. The second thing we enjoyed about this place is being on the lake so we can go down to the dock and fish or take our boat across the lake to get some ice cream in Green Lake or do some tubing. Also, we loved taking little road trips especially to the Farmer's Market in Princeton on Sat. morning or a drive around the lake, or to our favorite restaurants, Little Corporal and The Kingston House. Finally, the owners are so friendly and gracious. We are very thankful to have had a wonderful time here and look forward to going back. I would highly recommend this vacation home to a friend or relative.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful Lake Home for a Family Gathering

Enjoyed 3 nights at this Lake Home for my family reunion. Ages ranged from a 7 month old to Grandpa and Grandma in their 60's! With family coming from Colorado, Ohio and Wisconsin. There was something for everyone. We brought our own Volleyball court - the owners were very accommodating and let us set up the net in the front of the house (near the lake)...we also set up a corn hole game - so there is plenty of room for games in the front yard overlooking the lake. The description of the property and pictures are accurate. Very comfortable and accommodating! Evenings were spent playing cards in the screened-in porch or playing ping-pong in the lower level. We brought our own boat - launching the boat was easy - and not too far from their pier. The kids (and adults) enjoyed tubing on the huge lake - and then swimming at their public swimming area - which is on the other side of the lake from Lake Home. The Lake is huge and deep - we needed a few more days to explore the entire lake and everything it has to offer. The home is very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated - you can tell that the owners take very good care of their place. A neighbor welcomed us when we arrive and allowed us park our boat trailer on his lot. Owners were very helpful in answering our questions and concerns. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. My family had a great time - I'm sure yours will too!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

A relaxing week on Green Lake

We spent a very relaxing week on Green Lake with our two adult children, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in this large, spacious home. The owner, Candy, was extremely responsive to my many emails prior to our vacation. Their home is situated steps from the water in Beyers Cove--a quiet, peaceful area of the lake. The boat dock is just minutes away. The screened-in porch was an added benefit, especially this time of year when the mosquitos are out and biting. We spent most of our time on the water fishing, swimming, tubing. We also made use of the kayaks that are provided. We spent a good deal of time out walking, just enjoying the scenery. The home is very close to Princeton so shopping is convenient. We made many runs to Piggly Wiggly for additional groceries and also spent a few hours visiting the antique shops. Cable is not provided so bring DVD's with you. Wi-fi is also unavailable so no working while you are there! All in all we tremendously enjoyed our stay. Thanks Candy for a great vacation!
