The Bonita Beach Condominiums Complex is a gated community built around a landscaped courtyard at the north tip of Little Hickory Island. The facilities for your vacation enjoyment include 2 tennis courts, large heated swimming pool,Gulf of Mexico beach front,fishing pier, tennis, shuffleboard, and a variety of recreation areas including a picnic area. Shopping,golf,restaurants, and boat rentals are nearby, some within walking distance.
Our condo is a beautiful two bedroom,two bath unit on the 6th floor with a screened patio in front, a back balcony off both bedrooms with views of either the back bay or courtyard and ocean. The unit is fully furnished with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. Upgraded carpet and tile flooring along with central air, heat, and ceiling fans make this a place of solace. Should you get too much of the sun, two color TV's with cable and DVD players are provided. The kitchen is complete for your convenience, equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, blender and the major appliances you might expect with a condo of this distinction. Linens, pillows and such necessities are provided and will be fresh on your arrival. A washer and dryer are also provided. Beach items are also on hand such as blankets, towels, umbrella, coolers and beach chairs.
The convenience of the location is prime, just off Highway U.S 41 and minutes from I-75, with easy access to Fort Myers' Southwest Regional Airport. In season, from Christmas to Easter, the weather should be most delightful. Temperatures range at that time from 70-85 degrees and there is generally a glorious breeze off the Gulf of Mexico.

The condo and premises are lovely!! The pool is gorgeous!! We loved being so close to the Gulf!! Everything was beyond clean and well maintained. The owner was always acc.essible. We loved the local restaurants. We visited Sanibal Island and Naples too!! Shopping is great!! Hope to return soon!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 4 rented the condo last summer and look forward to our next stay there! It was perfect for our young children, they loved the beach and beautiful pool. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities you would need while staying at the beach. We can't wait to go back again!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We just got back from the condo and had a wonderful experience. The condo was well maintained and clean and exactly as described. The complex has a beautiful beach and we enjoyed sunsets on the patio every night. Owner promptly returned security deposit after our stay. We look forward to going back and would recommend to others.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, VERY NICE PROPERTY, VERY CLEAN CONDO BUT APARTMENT WAS NOT CLEAN AND NOT WELL-MAINTAINED: DUSTY CARPETS UNDER ALL BEDS TOILETTES/SHOWERS DIDN'T WORK CORRECTLY OWNER DIDN'T REFUND COMPLET SECURITY DEPOSIT, HE KEEPS 20% TELLING IT WAS FOR HIS PAYPAL CHARGES ( NORMALLY PAID BY OWNER!?!?! ) ... I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTYOwner response: Unit is professionally cleaned after each renter...after 13 years of renting this is the first comment of this sort....as for security refund the rent and security were paid via paypal...$40 in fees were taken out of the agreed upon rent which was also stated in a rental agreement signed by renter....this $40 was taken out of the security to make up the deficit.....balance of security ($160 out of $200 held) was paid 2 weeks after departure.

The place is decent, and we had a nice stay for 2 different years. However, the owner failed to return the security deposit when he should have. I contacted him by email on several occasions, and still nothing. Very disappointed!!!Owner response: Refund of deposit was delayed because of computer crashing and loss of info but was eventually returned once info was retrieved....
