We enjoyed our stay in Wallingford, a pretty neighborhood which is a great location for walking to restaurants, ice cream shops and movies. Near great bike routes, convenient to downtown Seattle and the highway. The garden right outside our door was a beautiful place to sit, and we had everything we needed inside, including the most comfortable bed ever, with heated mattress pad. The owner was very helpful and everything was in excellent condition.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Mu husband and I stayed at this wonderful Wallingford apartment while visiting our grandbaby in Seattle in January. We had everything we needed --comfortable bed (LOVE the electric mattress pad warmer); well-stocked kitchen, clean, and convenient to everything. Our hostess was so helpful and accommodating. The only caveat: if you are over 6 feet tall (male), the bathroom is a bit inconvenient, as the commode is on a raised step. If so, I recommend requesting the other apartment, where we have also stayed and thoroughly enjoyed.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

It is a charming cottage with all the amenities of home. Very close to small shops, restaurants and public transportation. Though I only met the owner once she was lovely and offered to help us in anyway. There was a very cozy big bed...Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Big king-size bed. Plenty of hot water. Good coffee maker. And Garnett, the woman who owns and operates the place is exceedingly likable. Perfect place for our recent Seattle visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Such a charming and comfortable place to stay while visiting Seattle. Plenty of privacy and quiet, yet walking distance to all the shopping, food and fun of Wallingford. We were delighted to find our accomodations very clean and supplied with everything to make our stay most enjoyable. A great bed to sleep in and a lovely garden to view. I can hardly wait for my next visit.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose this apartment for a two night stay for its proximity to our son, so that we could be close enough to walk to his home and help with the last minute errands for his wedding on Whidbey Island. We were pleasantly surprised with this apartment! In a small space, the owner has created an environment that is totally comfortable, very clean and has everything you could need or want. We kept marveling at how the apartment feels so large, because it is so well designed, decorated and stocked. It has the special touches you expect at an expensive hotel (i.e. comfortable bed with feather topper, bathroom stocked with toiletry items) With our own entrance, it is also very private. When we return to Wallingford to visit the newlyweds, we will certainly inquiry to rent here first.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My daughter and I came out to Seattle for a 9 day stay. We were very comfortable in this apartment. It is a welcoming, clean, warm, calming space. Great neighborhood ~ nice walking ~ great eating. Good central location to everything. We were busy every day taking in the area. It was so nice to come back to a comforfable space in a nice neighborhood. Garnett has created a beautiful, warm home. We felt very at ease during our stay. So much nicer than staying in a cold hotel.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Seattle, which is a pricey hotel town, this could be it. The owners were wonderfully accommodating to us, and we were kind of needy when we were there. I developed a dental emergency, for one thing. The apartment is romantic, quiet, charming, and the king sized bed with luxe linens is muy comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. No question, if we return to Seattle, we will try to stay here again. Lovely people, lovely place.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My family is moving to Seattle and we wanted a place where we could tour the city, but avoid expensive hotels. This Wallingford unit had an excellent kitchen (gas stoves are fantastic!), a clean and bright bathroom, a comfortable bed, and is located near parks, restaurants, cafes, and sights. We especially enjoyed the patio area surrounded with berries and the well-kept property. Garnett contacted me as soon as I expressed interest in renting, and the process went smoothly and directly. There was a slight problem with the door kob, which Bev promptly fixed for us. This is an excellent place to rent for a short stay, and we look forward to returning to Seattle!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Awesome and cozy place to stay while in Seattle. The accommodations were very comfy and it was in a very convenient part of Seattle. Bev was a gracious hostess and made us feel very welcome. This is our second visit here. We appreciate all the details that Garnett provided to ensure our comfort. Thank you, Garnett, for creating a "home away from home" for us while we were in Seattle. We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this has moved to the top of our list. It is a warm, and inviting space. All amenities are provided as described, and the space was laid out exactly as in the pictures. Our young adult son was quite comfortable on the twin size air mattress provided.We cooked several meals with ease due to the well supplied kitchen. Garnett is a thoughtful and caring owner. We will becoming to Seattle regularly to see our daughter and will most certainly be returning here. The location and accomodations was wonderful. We were very comfortable with the facility the extra touches for the cool weather and the holidays and the feeling of "home". Everything was clean and pleasant - a great experience and when we return to Seattle we know where we want to stay and I would certainly recommend this property to any one else for its location and personal feel.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed in Garnett's apartment for three nights. Having lived in Seattle for many years, I was already familiar with the neighborhood (Wallingford) so knew where to go for a good breakfast -- Julia's, which is a few blocks away). Lots of place to roam in Wallingford, including an old school that has been rehabbed to include several eclectic stores. The apartment is charming. Comfy bed, good reading light, beautiful artwork and everything you need should you want to cook all your own meals. There's an outdoor patio and blooming vines and flowers surround the property. Garnett is a fabulous host. We plan to stay there again on our next trip to Seattle.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.
