This lovely home boasts hardwood floors with all the necessary furnishings designed to make your stay a memorable one. It is spacious with large bedrooms (you can open the portable crib and still have plenty of room).
This home is located in South Haven only .3 miles from the beach -- take a stroll or drive! This is a neighborhood that is family-friendly. There is a convenience store that is only a 5 minute walk away. A larger grocery, Village Market, is less than a 5 minute drive.
The 'Michigan Theater provides great cinematic entertainment; take an early morning walk along the waterfront, visit the Lighthouse (and climb to the top if you like). Anytime Fitness provide an outlet to exercise. The wonderful Day Spa is an inviting way to relax in the downtown area.
There are several downtown restaurants offering many choices -- try Clementines, Café Julia’s, or Tellobistro. For local fare, the Thirsty Perch serves delicious Michigan fish. You will find some restaurants located harbor-side along the marina where you may sit to enjoy the view or night air. During the summer, there is a farmer’s market at the downtown pavilion where produce is fresh, organic and local.
Plan a day trip to Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, bike the Kal-Haven trail, take a winery tour, or feed the giraffes at the Binder Park Zoo! You will find plenty to enjoy from this location.
This is a two-story home with 5 rooms on the first floor. The kitchen is modern and equipped for the Julia Child in you. The great room has a gas fireplace and view of the back yard (a whopping 5,000 sq.ft.). The den has a comfy chair for reading and a writing desk near the window. There is a convertible bed in the first floor bedroom with a flat-screen TV. The bathroom showcases lovely tile-work and has a tub/shower. A laundry/mud room has a washer and dryer. The second floor has a bedroom with King, and a second bedroom with Queen + twin and trundle, and a bathroom.

We had two young children and four adults in this home. Nice and cozy home, but plenty of space. We never felt on top of one another. One of the home's greatest features is the huge, fenced in back yard. It was nice to let the kids run around while we sat outside for our morning cup of coffee. Owner also had a great binder and basket of brochures for things to do around the area. We didn't feel like we could walk most places but anything we wanted was within 1 to 4 miles drive. Location is very close to a grocery store, and great downtown restaurants.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

This house was lovely and spacious. It was perfect for our family vacation with three small children and 6 adults. The house is clean and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach to view sunsets and a great place to return after a day at the beach. The owners were helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay at this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
