A luxuriously, custom 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located on a beautiful, private acre in Homer, AK. You will have a terrific panoramic view of glaciers, snowy mountains, Kachemak Bay, the Homer Spit, and the arriving/departing boats from every room in the house. Moose can be seen wandering through the yard and nearby wooded areas on a daily basis; while Bald Eagles are often seen flying overhead.
Your home away from home has a queen bed, two twin beds, twin size sofa, a convertible twin and queen bed , large closets, luxury linens, breakfast bar, dining room, cozy living room with a river rock fire place, 2 full baths with jetted tub, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room with a washer and dryer. This house also comes with a wrap around deck, outdoor seating/lounge chairs and custom artistry throughout.
Enjoy a day full of Homer adventures then return home to relax, listen to music, watch a little TV, sit in front of the fire place or just sit on your deck and marvel at the breathtaking glaciers while enjoying a glass of wine and the clean air.
Watch whales breech and bubble feed, view bears, cruise glaciers, fish for salmon or halibut, walk the boardwalks on the spit, kayak, explore the beaches, take a cruise to Halibut Cove or Seldovia, enjoy deliciously, fresh food, bike, hike, horseback ride and much more on your extended Homer holiday. My wife and I were referred by a friend to this lovely getaway, and I have to say it was WELL worth it! So many exciting things to see and do in the area. We took advantage of being so close and yet so privately located to town. We thank you for allowing us a 10% discount to law enforcement. This is one vacation I am sure she will never forget. Last month our stay at your brand new home was fantastic. It offered everything a couple could want. Relaxing, romantic, yet full of adventure. My husband caught a 62 lb King off of Anchor Point. It was really great having fishing charter professionals just across the street. My husband will be back to Moose and Bear hunt in August. If you want a really want a nice place to stay, where you can view the wildlife closeup, this is the place!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are a close knit family that decided to venture to Alaska six years ago. We enjoy living a healthy life style that includes all outdoor activities, exercise, fishing, hunting, camping and spending quality time together.
Why the Owner Chose Homer:
We moved to Homer six years ago and fell in love with the beautiful landscape, fresh air, wildlife and outdoor activities. We decided to build this house in order to allow others to have the opportunity to experience this dream life destination. This vacation rental is right outside of City limits and allows more opportunity for relaxation and comfortable living.

This rental is only a mile away from Fritz Creek General Store and The Homestead Restaurant which offers gas, liquor, snacks, personal items, delicious veggie and brisket sandwiches, burritos, artisan pizza, pastries, locally grown salads, soups and fresh bread all made daily.
