This is the peaceful side of Waikiki where Kapiolani Park, Ala Wai Golf Course, the Honolulu Aquarium, Waikiki Shell Amphitheater, Kapiolani Bandstand, the Honolulu Zoo, Diamond Head, and the "Sunset on the Beach" movies are your neighbors. Each room overlooks Kapiolani Park, a 200-acre greenway, in the middle of Honolulu that King Kalakaua named after his beloved wife. Kapiolani Park has tennis courts and a bandstand where the Royal Hawaiian Band performs each week and where hula and other events are held.
