  We spent the week in the house with friends and what a great place. Plently of room (especially with only 2 couples) and just a very nice property. The private pool and easy beach access are awesome and the covered rear porch/deck is fantastic, very large and no better place to watch the sunrise. I would suggest adding a few pictures of the view form the porch to the listing, it is the highlight of the house! Thanks for a fantastic week, we will be back.

  We just returned from a wonderful week at the Sunkist House. We enjoyed it greatly. The private pool and fenced in area was great with a 2 year old. Paul and Angie were very quick to respond from the beginning in setting up the reservation. We would definately stay here again, my only little concerns was the path getting from the walkway to the beach, it was a little grown up and hard to carry things and small children through and it would be nice to have a skimmer to use at the pool on the days the pool maintenance people aren't scheduled. But these are just minor things. The house was great and very clean. Plenty of room and a great view of the ocean. Nice furnishings and loved the pool loungers. There was plenty of seats for everyone to sit out by the pool and enjoy. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying here again.

• Multi-Family Vacation

  Spending a whole week with multiple families can get tiring, but this property gave us ample space to be a part of the fun or sneak away for some peace and quiet. The second floor is surprisingly quiet even with a 2,9 and 11 year old running around screaming. I highly recommend this property, not only for the house itself but due to Paul's quick response time and sincere concern in our enjoyment. The only reason I did not give five stars is because we had quite a lot of recycling of our own plus what the previous renters left in the outdoor bin. This seems to be more of a Surfside Beach problem, their recycle bins are quite small. One call to Paul and he had someone promptly empty most of the bin enabling us to refill it. Someone in our party left a plug in device and Paul quickly shipped it to us, top notch customer service. Thanks Paul - we look forward to visiting again.

• A perfect stay at SUNKIST

  My family and I just spent an incredible week at the SUNKIST house! First off, let me say that Paul is very helpful, and answered his phone every time I called from the begining of setting up the rental! The pool was very clean, in fact it was cleaned and tested for chemicals twice during our stay! The house was perfect, very spacious for my busy group! And the view was amazing! You could walk to Bubba's Fish Shack, The Pier and The Icecream Shop at the pier, all are less than a mile from the house! We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet get away, with all the night life right around the corner!

  My family and spent the most wondeful ime at the beach here at the Sukist! It was great having the private pool all to ourselves. The house was just as it said it was in the listing and even better. It was clean and well kept. I would recomend this property to all of my friends. Can't wait to here next year!!!

  We were so excited about our vacation based upon the description of the property of the “Sunkist”, and what a disappointment it ended up to be. We stayed here with another family from September 24-Oct 1st. As we walked in and started to set up for the week, I found sunglasses on the nightstand, a burp cloth and a kids winter glove under the beds as if the previous tenants had just walked out and we walked in. I took a shower that night only to find that I had to clean the drain as I was standing in a pool of water in the bathtub. I pulled out the nastiest, gooiest clump of hair and debris out of the drain. We arrived on Saturday the 24th and by Wednesday the pool water was green. We called and the gal let us know she would send someone out right away but we had to call again on Thursday as it went from green to green and nasty. The pool guy came out and let us know chlorine sticks were needed and once the chlorine was added we should get blue water back. After we came home from South Carolina our daughters ear was hurting and she was treated for swimmers ear. I looked up swimmers ear on google and found that “Swimmer's ear is an infection that's usually caused by bacteria commonly found in water and soil”…I can only assume that because there was no chlorine pumping through the pool that she contracted this bacteria. As stated, I was very disappointed in the “Sunkist”. We come and enjoy South Carolina every year as it has become a family tradition but we will not be returning to the “Sunkist”

Just so you will know the rental agency that you rented the property from is no longer handling any of my properties now. Also the pool company has also been released. Please know that I am truly sorry about this.
