An easy five minute walk to the ocean, its location at the prestigious Kingston Plantation, and its reasonable price make this sweet condo rental an unbeatable value. Kingston, a 145 acre gated resort, is probably the choicest spot on the Grand Strand with a half mile of private beach. Located between busy Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation is a peaceful enclave amidst many opportunites for dining, entertainment and shopping. Tanger Outlets, Walmart, and Kroger are less than a ten minute drive.
The superb beach is one of the widest on the Grand Strand. The sand is soft and white and the surf usually gentle. A rental service provides beach chairs and umbrellas if you don't care to bring your own.
The private Laurel Court pool is only steps away from the condo. It is equipped with tables with umbrellas, chairs, and chaise lounges. We like it for a quick dip, or just relaxing by the pool. Sometimes we have supper on one of the tables around the pool.
My unit is on the top floor of a three story building (with elevator), affording great views. The bright and comfy living/dining area opens to a deck with chairs where you can enjoy views of both lake and ocean.. The master BR has new furniture with a king sized bed and private bath, while the other BR has two twins and its own bath. A pull out sofa in LR can accomodate two more. There are a washer and dryer, free WiFi, DVD player and cable TV in the LR and a TV in each bedroom. It is a pleasure to stroll or bicycle the walkways of the plantation and enjoy the lakes, trees, flowers and wildlife including ducks, swans, herons and turtles
Golfers can walk or ride a golf cart across the street to the Arcadian Shores Golf Course; and there are about 99 other courses in the Myrtle Beach area.
The Sport & Health Club is minutes away from the condo with a large indoor lap pool, weight machines, aerobics classes, raquet ball, tennis, volleyball and bicycle rentals There is an additional fee to use the Sport and Health Club. For fishermen, The Arcadian Pier, the longest on the east coast, is just up the beach and has equipment for rent. There is so much to enjoy, you might have to come back every year!

This is one of the few times photos and description of a property were accurate. In fact, the photos don't do justice. The property was very clean and well maintained and the view was spectacular. I told my friends and family about Kingston Plantation and we'll plan to stay there for our next family gathering. Thanks Rosemary for sharing your home with me and my family. The unit is bright and cherry. Furniture is in good condition. If Mother Nature had been more cooperative we would have been to the beach often since there is easy access. We are so happy with the accomodations that we have booked for 3 months in 2014.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

This place was GREAT!!! My husband and I along with our 2 boys just spent 3 nights here. It was very clean and comfortable. We were already familiar with this area so when we found this place we were elated. Rosemary was very kind and helpful. We couldn't have asked for anything else. The accomodations are amazing. The condo is a fantastic size for 5-6 people, clean, well stocked and very close to the beach. The property is resort like and my kids really enjoyed the pool too! The condo unit was attractively furnished, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed a quiet stay for the week, enjoying all that Kingston Plantation has to offer. It is the BEST place to stay at Myrtle Beach! The nearby Richmond Park pool was not yet open for the season, but a short walk away, the pool at Royal Palms is wonderful, and offers poolside food and beverage service. Be aware that the owner has wireless listed as an amenity, but that is only through Hilton, at a cost of $60 for the week. The nearby outlet mall, and McDonald's have free wireless for those if us who need to keep in touch with work.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your "Second Home" we enjoyed our vacation so much and the weather couldn't have been better! Our time at Kingston was very relaxing and we loved every minute of it...the only problem was...we had to come home! The unit was as promised comfortable and very clean. We stayed here with myself and two young children, plus a friend and her 2 children. It was a very short walk to the beach. The pool was very nice and very close to the condo. It is very close to the outlet, and everything else you need. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Excellent, well cared for, nicely decorated condo that is convenient to all of the good places in the middle of Myrtle Beach! It is a fairly long walk (through a hotel parking lot) to get the ocean, which makes it a little hard when you have a bunch of "stuff" for little ones, but it is doable! We really enjoyed our stay there and were VERY thankful for the elevator, which isn't always available in a 3 story condo! Why the Owner Chose Laurel Court:
When I married my husband in 1996, he already owned another condo in Kingston. I would rent an extra condo when my children came down so we could all vacation together. After 8 years of doing this I had the opportunity to purchase my own and went for it. The minute I walked into my condo and saw the pretty lake view from the balcony, I fell in love. I didn't hesitate because I was convinced that this is the best resort in Myrtle Beach.
Another feature of Kingston, is that it is gated and has a 15 mph speed limit. This and the fact that a security team patrols 24/7 gives it an extra measure of security
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I don't think you could get closer to the ocean for a better price, and the third floor has the best views. A feature of my particular unit is that it is one of the few that it has an open deck rather than a screened porch. The screened porches are nice, but they darken the living area. My living room is bright and cheery which is especially nice in winter. I also think we have the best swimming pool in Kingston
