Early 20th-century shingle-style cottage located on the Connecticut shore, roughly a twenty-minute drive east of New Haven, approximately halfway between Madison and Guilford. The front porch is just a few steps from a quiet beach on Long Island Sound.
Set in the middle of a secluded beach colony with plenty of open space, yet with easy access to I-95, it is the perfect spot for multi-generational family vacations.
The house is spacious. It can sleep sixteen+ people easily. All linens and kitchen equipment are provided.
The first floor has: Living room with WBFP; dining room; kitchen with 2 refrigerators, stove, washer & dryer; pantries; lavatory.
The second floor has: Seven bedrooms (2 with a queen-size bed, 2 with a double, 1 with 2 twins, and 2 with one twin); two bathrooms.
The third floor has: Two bedrooms (each with 2 twin beds), 3 twin beds in open areas, bathroom.
Rentals are by the week from Memorial Day till Labor Day. In September the house is also available by the week, and it is sometimes available by the day. All utilities are included in the rent, except for long distance telephone charges.
