  Our family party, 5 adults from Spokane and Seattle, spent a perfect July week in this comfortable, convenient, spacious Chelsea apartment. We have used VRBO in Manhattan almost a dozen times in recent years, staying in many different neighborhoods of the city, and so we consider ourselves savvy comparison reviewers. This loft definitely goes to the top of our "hope to return" file. As the photos accurately show, there's an open and welcoming ambiance to the loft. We could not have duplicated that experience in any hotel for the price, nor would we have been able to enjoy the conviviality of common space plus the ample privacy of separate bedrooms and baths. And where else could any visitor meet so remarkable, so distinctive and regal, a cat? (His human companions, aka loft owners, are agreeable too.)

  This apartment was one of the highlights of our trip to New York City. It's superbly located - just a couple of blocks from 5th Avenue and very close to subways etc. It couldn't belong anywhere other than New York. Light, airy, and very open-plan, the apartment boasts walls of windows and a fabulous loft-like ambiance. Its interior is unique and beautiful but still manages to maintain a warm and cozy feel (helped - in part - by the very gorgeous rental cat, Ganesh!) The rental process was very easy - the apartment's owners very communicative, kind, and informative. I shall be recommending this place to plenty of friends!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

  We had a great and happy time ! at the lovely loft this past May. The moment we walked in we knew we had found the perfect place for our family and that it was home away from home. And we saw Ganesh who woke up from his sleep to welcome us to his home. He was the most beautiful cat we had seen and by the time we had left he had become apart of our family. The Loft was exquisite, spacious and the decoration was so cool as it was vintage Art Deco. The amount of light that came through the windows that literally wrapped around the whole loft was quite unique for NY city. And to be able to watch the city lights in the evening while having dinner was so pleasent. The owners had prepared the house so that we could just walk in open our suitcases and settle in and enjoy our vacation. They had thought of every possible detail...We had a booklet in which all was written from how to use the private elevator to where the dishwasher detergent was to maps and best neighbourhood restaurants and ofcourse a note how to feed dear Ganesh. The location was great! The shops, the subway, the park, the restaurants were right around the corner and our walks to Soho were so lovely and it was a lovely suprise to discover that we had right next door to us the weekend Chelsea Flea market, where we had so much fun. Thank you for making out stay so memorable. We spent great 10 days and we are sure those who will stay will have a great time !
