Enjoy the amazing panoramic180 degree views from the large sundeck with bbq and watch the sun set over the Gulf Islands and mountains of Vancouver Island. The spacious and beautifully designed accommodation consists of open-plan living space on the upper floor to take full advantage of the view, as well as three bedrooms, family/tv room and laundry room. Feel like part of the scenery with the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living.
The development is in peaceful surroundings 50 metres from the private beach yet only a 3 minute drive into Sechelt with a wide range of restaurants, cafes, stores and other amenities. The house is surrounded by indigenous plants and flowers with whales, eagles, seals visible from the deck. Lots of activities on your doorstep: lazy walks on the beach, kayaking, mountain biking and hiking trails. Only a 45 minute drive from Skookumchuck Narrows, a short ferry ride from diving in Mermaid Cove, and a short drive to the nearby Ruby and Sakinaw Lakes for fishing and recreation; there really is something for everyone.

This is a great rental unit in a beautiful location. The listing is accurate regarding the location, and the photos accurately reflect the appearance and the amenities of the the rental property. The unit is very spacious, clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly need was supplied. The owner is friendly and easy to deal with. She was readily available by text message to answer any questions that we had. We have an active family, so during the day we would hike, mountain bike, and swim. We'd then come back to the unit, with its large and fully stocked kitchen, make a family meal together, and enjoy watching the sunset from the upper deck. You do need a vehicle to fully appreciate the area. The beaches in the area are primarily pebble beaches, so beach shoes are a must if you want to do much swimming. You will need at least two days to make a booking for any kind of rental, such as kayaks or mountain bikes, so make your decisions early as to what you would like to do while you are there. Had we been a bit better organized, we would have done a kayaking tour with Halfmoon Sea Kayaks, which was a bit further down the road. And if we had had more time, we would have traveled further up the coastline to Powell River. The area is also known for its local artists and artisans, so if art or or crafts are of interest, there are lots of places to stop and explore. Vancouver can be challenging to drive through, so leave yourself lots of time to travel from the airport to the ferry to the unit, and back again. We would definitely recommend this unit to family and friends, and hope to be back sometime.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The location is beautiful and the owner has thought of everything you might need for a wonderful stay. I'd recommend this property to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Beautifully designed ocean view home, spacious, affordable and a delight to stay at for a relaxing get away! Deluxe home from home experience. You will want for nothing - except that you will wish you could stay longer... This is a place to sit back and enjoy the view, enjoy time spent together as a family. Playing cards, board games, catching up.
