  We recently did a spring break ski trip to South Lake Tahoe with our family of 4 and another family of 4, staying at this wonderful house. The house was perfect for our needs and the price even better! It easily slept 8 people, 4 of those being kids under 12. My concern when looking for a house to rent is that we had enough entertainment to keep the kids busy after skiing, and went for this house because they had a playstation and pool table. Turns out the kids didn't even turn on the playstation, nor the TV for that matter. Instead they enjoyed playing pool, building snow forts out in the backyard and at night played many of the board games that Diana and Peter provided in the home. The house was easy to find and getting to Heavenly ski area only took us 10 minutes, so the location was great! Only issues I would say is if you have a group that is boisterous or loud, then this is not the house for you. They have neighborhood quiet hours restrictions after 10 pm, so use of the hot tub or anything outdoors was prohibited after that time. Otherwise if you are looking for a nice, clean house with a pool table and hot tub, that is quiet and relaxing than this is a great place to rent! The owners were great to work with too. Diana was very prompt in calling me back to set up our reservation and with any questions I had, and her husband Peter was great about calling upon our arrival to be sure all was okay. If we make a return trip to Tahoe, we'll definitely consider this house again! Thank you Diana and Peter for making our trip a nice stay at your home!

  We had wonderful experience with this home and would stay there again with no hesitation. The house was clean, warm and large enough to accommodate two families. I would consider this home a local jem and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place in South Lake Tahoe.

  Thank you so much for making available your beautiful home. We all had so much fun. Everything was just as you listed. We had plenty of room for all and easy access to snow fun. Your home is so warm and inviting we did not want to leave. I hope to rent this home again, maybe in the summer next time. The weather was great, the company was awesome and the home was everything plus more.

  The house was spacious, with lots of activities to keep our crowd busy. Between the pool table, hot tub, games and of course TV's and Wifi, there was no reason to be bored unless you wanted some down time . . . which you could always find space for. Even the kitchen was so well stocked that I'd recommend checking the inventory prior to picking up spices at the store. Heavenly Valley and South Lake Tahoe were a ten minute drive when for those times you wanted to leave the house. Will definitely plan on coming back!

  My friends and I stayed in this house over Thanksgiving break and could not have had a better time! The place comfortably fit 10 adults and the loft made the space feel very open. The kitchen allowed us to make an entire Thanksgiving feast for 10 people and he kitchen amenities were nothing short of amazing! The house is close to Heavenly and the casinos, as well as a number of different hiking trails. Also, the grocery store is right up the street so if you forget anything it won't be a problem! The owners and very responsive and willing to help you with any questions you may have, which is a big plus. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Tahoe!

  The property was just as advertised and we found all the amenities and comforts of home to make our stay very enjoyable; the house was clean and very well equipped. We decided to take a trip to Tahoe before our daughter returned to college from her summer break and we found Diana the owner very agreeable to help us on fairly short notice; she was very responsive and very easy to interact with. We enjoyed using the hot tub and practicing our pool skills…our only complaint was the time went way too fast. We would recommend this property to friends and family and we’ll consider renting here again. We spent a day at Nevada Beach, it was beautiful… highly recommend if you’re in Tahoe for the summer!

  Arrived very late after an 11hour flight and drive up from San Francisco: directions very good and access straight forward, immediately felt at home with everything working first time every time. Great location and super home with lots of space, very clean quality fittings, very comfortable bedrooms, beautiful furnishings and decor fully equipped with everything we needed & more. Internet worked fine and there are more TV channels than we needed. Open plan accommodation works really well, the pool table is great fun, a real highlight is the hot tub on the rear deck, great place to have a drink at the end of the day. Location is superb close to the delights of Tahoe, which is fabulous (must be amazing in the snow) but so peaceful. Renters easy to deal with no doubt they have furnished up to the high standard of a quality home not down to a renters budget : SUPERB! We stayed at the beginning of a four week trip to the States we would have happily stayed for the whole time it was a real highlight of our trip! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

  The house was amazing and in a great location. The decor is exactly as pictured, and the house is very open and roomy. The house was very clean and had ample amount of towels (which came in handy).We cooked a large dinner for 6 and found that the kitchen had everything we needed from utensils to place mats We got plenty of use out of the pool table, and enjoyed the hot tub. Pandora was a bonus and having the big table to play games definitely came in handy. We would certainly love to reserve your home again and come back in the winter for some fun in the snow. Thank you for a great experience!

  The descriptions and comments of this spacious, well stocked, and very comfortable house are very accurate. Unfortunately, when we looked at the description and the house, it had cable TV. We are a family who has favorite TV networks such as ESPN, Golf network, Comcast Sports Network, TNT, TBS Food Channel, History, A & E, etc. Sometime after our reservation the cable was replaced with internet TV as an addition to over the air digital TV Channels and we were not informed. If this is not important to you, the house is extremely comfotable and we found everything as the other reviewers have said to be true. The owners are nice and easy to work with so I presume they had a good reason to change out the cable. The deposit was returned promptly. We enjoyed staying there except for the lack of cable TV.

  Owner response: In November of 2011, we made the decision to switch from cable TV to a combination of off air channels with all major networks in high def. plus internet TV, with subscriptions to Netflix for movies, and Hulu Plus for TV shows. The reason for the change was the picture quality on the cable system was poor, and we felt that the availability of on demand movies on Netflix and on demand TV shows on Hulu Plus was, in general, more attractive to vacationers without access to their recorded shows on the DVR at home. National sporting events which are covered on the major networks are still available but there is less sports content with this system, which was a tradeoff. We have had excellent feedback from our renters since implementing this new system until this review. This renter found our listing on VRBO before we made this change and we should have informed them of this, for which we have apologized.
