Both our apartment and Rodolfo the owner were wondeful. The layout of the apartment with one bedroom and bath upstairs with the ohter downstairs at the opposite end made a great arrangement. Our apartment had all we needed, washer, dryer, dishwasher. The kitchen could have used more of everything but think most people do not cook. The location despite a few steps, close to the Tiber and Vatican, on direct bus lines was ideal. We felt very secure with the double locks with alarm on the apartment. Rodolfo was always in contact and helpful in so many ways.My only regreat was that I could not stay longer then the 5 wonderful weeks we spent there.

Owner response: Thanks, you've been very kind. I still remember your beautiful designs with the technique of watercolor. Five weeks have passed in a flash. Did you feel at home, but away from your home! I will try with all my might to make you feel so good all my future guests! A greeting from the owner and manager, Rodolfo
A fabulous experience !!!
A fabulous experience !!!
The weather was perfect. It could not have been better, 27- 30 every day, save one. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it ideal for sharing. It was walking distance to the Vatican and the local bus system made it easy to get around and explore all that this glorious city has to offer. The apartment was very well appointed and maintained. Especially appreciated having the separate laundry room with washer and dryer. It is quite a steep hill to the apartment but the exercise was good for us, ...when in Rome do as the Romans. We had a minor problem with a shower drain which was quickly attended to. I must also add that the housekeeper was especially helpful on our departure, making calls in Italian to arrange our taxi pick up. All in all a delightful vacation and would highly recommend this apartment.

Owner response: Thanks Ronald, I can not add more. You are better than me. And since you're the customer what you say is sacred! Please come again. Remember that I have three apartments in the center of Rome: all very central, very well kept with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower. Greetings The owner, Rodolfo
Clean & quiet apartment
Clean & quiet apartment
We enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was located on a quiet street and was a very secure location. It is a compact apartment but has everything you could need! It was clean and up to date, very pleasant! We did have a bit of a problem with the internet connection, but the owner worked to resolve it. The apartment is very close to the Vatican and walking distance to other main Rome attractions. There is a small grocery store a few blocks away--all in all, a good location! I would recommend it.

Owner response: Dear Joanne, I thank you for the nice words! This apartment is a delight: I say so, but many reviews 5/5! I do not understand why I've taken a star: 4 /5! Perhaps for the WiFi has stopped working? Does not depend on my plants! The provider is Telecom Italy and provides Internet continues 24/24 to 7 mega! But all the Internet facilities are owned by the operator: - Then the phone cord - The modem (rudder) - WiFi is owned by the manager! You had a break WiFI, you warned me and I have come to the house and I called the manager. The problem was resolved in no time. I am responsible for my plants! Poosso not be responsible for facilities that belong to the distribution companies by phone! I wanted to clarify this very important! I am not the owner of the telephone company! greetings Rodolfo Cara Joanne, ti ringrazio delle belle parole! Saluti Rodolfo
Ideal apartment for small family
Ideal apartment for small family
Our 3 week stay in Rodolfo's apartment was the high point of a wonderful two-month sojourn in Italy. Where to begin? The apartment was spotless, comfortable, super peaceful, with wonderful light and a lovely view from the main bedroom of the Florentine church across the Tiber. For about 10 days two of our adult daughters shared the flat with us and there was plenty of room for all. The street is lovely, residential, quiet day and night (aside from the sound of ambulances serving the nearby hospital). Everything worked perfectly and when we had a minor issue with a shower drain, Rodolfo fixed it instantly. In fact, Rodolfo himself is totally charming and extremely attentive -- we enjoyed chatting with him (we do speak some Italian which was helpful, though he provides a translator for those who don't) and by the end of our stay he felt like an old friend. The neighborhood, while devoid of nightlife, hopping bars, or large grocery stores, is super convenient to all of central Rome. Bus service is great but it is also a quick and beautiful walk to Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Vatican etc. In short, this was a dream come true -- and we will certainly stay here on our next visit to Rome and renew our friendship with Rodolfo. Grazie mille per un soggiorno indimenticabile!

Owner response: Dear David, reading your review, I was speechless! You have sent a nice review too! But it's the truth! My availability to my guests is not wanted! You must believe me: it is a duty of hospitality. The host (not the client) is sacred when the host is outside the country must be cuddled: for me it is an innate duty! Why I expect the same trttamento when I am in another country. However, I'd be entertained even more with you: I only have the fear of disturbing. Thank you for your review. Customers ... opps ... Guests must be assisted also and especially after check-in! This is importanete and fundamental. Best wishes, David.
Very well-appointed Rome apartment
Very well-appointed Rome apartment
My friends and I spent a very pleasant week in this quiet, well-appointed apartment in March of 2013 ( coincidentally during the 2013 papal conclave). It is very well located for walking to the Vatican, to the Piazza Navona, Patheon, Trevi Fountain, Trastevere, and myriad other places of interest and beauty. We didn't use them, but there are tourist buses that take you to some of the more far-flung sights, such as the Colosseo and the Galleria Borghese.. The apartment is spotlessly clean with attractive, high-end modern appointments, and the owner has thought of everything you might need. He met us at the apartment with an English speaker who explained the various technologies we would be using: the gas for the stove, the heat, the high-tech locking system that kills power to all but essential services upon exit, etc. We didn't use the printer, but we appreciated the wi-fi very much. We made good use of the washer and drier, and the large map of Rome on the wall also came in very handy as we planned our days. Really, there are only two negatives I feel I should mention. One is that the apartment is small. It is well designed to take advantage of every square inch, but the fact remains that the couch seats two people, so if four people want to sit and talk after a day of sightseeing, two of them will have to sit on kitchen chairs. The other negative is that the apartment sits on a rather steep hill. Salita di Sant'Onofrio, the name of the street, means "climb to Sant'Onofrio", and it is a climb. Even the fittest of our group found it a bit daunting after a full day of walking around Rome. Whether you go straight up the ancient steps (via Sant'Onofrio) or take the more gentle Salita di Sant'Onofrio, it's a work-out, and that is why I didn't check the "Age 55+" box, although I am sure there are many active seniors who would not find this an obstacle to their enjoyment of this property.

modern apartment with amazing view
modern apartment with amazing view
this apartment is just as advertised. it is very modern, clean and comfortable. the owner and his agent are easy to work with. the bedrooms and bathrooms are great, and the bedrooms have lovely views of city rooftops. the location is good, with both the center of the city and the vatican nearby. there are two issues with the apartment that i would mention. the first is that there is no living room, and only a very small sitting area, so there is no common area for socializing. of course, since we were out all the time this was not so important. the second is that the entrance to the apartment is on a fairly steep hill, and to get up to the street you must walk up a city staircase. so if you have trouble walking up hills or stairs this apartment is not for you.

Owner response: Dear Martha, thank you for your answer. Space! We all want so much space available in the center of Rome, very close to the places of tourist interest. The space in the center of Rome has a very high price! So you need to make a choice! What choice for a holiday home? Only one bathroom? Or two comfortable bathrooms with shower? A small kitchen? With limited space? Or a kitchen with space and convenient appliances? Bedrooms small? or comfortable bedrooms with comfortable lettio? Where wash their clothes? Outside? Or have in your home is a laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer (!) Etc..? We have a comfortable dining table for 4 people, a comfortable sofa for three people where you can see the satellite TV, and a chair with an ottoman. The tourist comes out in the morning and returns in the evening, is tired and wants to cook at home in a fully equipped kitchen, want to see after the news of his country to the TV, or connect to the Internet fast. (!) After he wants to go to sleep in comfortable rooms. The morning four people running to the bathroom? No! There are two comfortable bathrooms with shower! The long ladder to reach the house! Dear Martha may not have taken the best way! In fact, you would have had to walk one hundred yards because of the Janiculum, then climb a small ladder and continue to climb Sant'Onofrio number 21, which is located a few yards later. Better yet, get on the bus 470, get off at the Child Jesus and then everything in duscesa to reach the house! I'm sorry not to have had a sufficient communication. It 'a matter of choice! This apartment is 65 square meters. If a tourist wants more space, remember that we have two more apartments: - Trastevere, 80-square-foot - The historic center, 110 square meters. But in the morning when I wake up ... I do not have a panoramic view of Castel Sant'Angelo! As I said, it's a matter of choice. The owner, Rodolfo, thanks.
family holiday in rome
family holiday in rome
We stayed in the apartment for the week between Christmas and New Years 2012. The apartment was very comfortable for us (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The apartment was very convenient to all the major sites and interesting areas, especially convenient to Vatican and Trastevere areas. The apartment was very clean; the appliances seemed brand new and worked well. Rodolfo was very helpful and met us promptly. I would definitely recommend to others (either 2 couples or a family). Only drawback...there is not much room to sit in the living area. So if you want to spend time at home watching TV (minimal English channels), this may not be the place for you. But if you just want to sleep and maybe eat some meals at home, it is a great choice.

Owner response: Thanks Linnea! You are very concise, you are very good. This apartment (and the other two apartments) are all located in the center of Rome, but the streets are quiet and peaceful. So the ultimate in comfort! Get out of the house and already you are very close to points of interest. In the evening, when you return to the house, tired but happy with your Roman walks, you will find a cozy home, real beds with orthopedic mattresses, 2 shower rooms comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, sofa soft. High-speed Internet access, air conditioning in summer and heating efficiency in the winter. The satellite TV allows you to be updated with news of your country. The cleaners are always checked twice: the only way you can be sure! Rodolfo and my staff always provide the best assistance to the guests, also after sale! Rodolfo owner thanks. ITALIANO: Grazie Linnea! Tu sei molto concisa, sei molto brava. Comfortable, convenient, good location
Comfortable, convenient, good location
My cousin and I stayed here in October for a week and were very happy with the accommodation. The owner and his colleague met us when we arrived, showed us all the features and how to work everything. The apartment was scrupulously clean, everything worked well (including the wifi). The washer & dryer were wonderful to have because I had been in Italy for the 2 weeks prior. Kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator - it's definitely a great place to prepare meals. Location is excellent, just a few minutes to the Vatican, 15 or so to the center of Rome, and just a short walk to the top of the Gianicolo (Janiculum Hill). There is a nice map on the wall with pins marking locations of recommended restaurants & grocery stores. Very handy. The photos are exactly what the apartment looks like. Comfortable beds & plenty of storage for clothes. Very nice bathrooms, showers had excellent water pressure. No bidets, but that was ok with us. There is not really a living room. There's a small area by the kitchen with a chair and table, and a small area with a couch & wall-mounted flat screen television. It was fine for the 2 of us, and why hang out in your apartment anyway when you're in Rome? The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. No hidden fees or issues. I would definitely stay here or at another of his apartments when I'm in Rome again. Grazie, Rodolfo!
