Our lovely one bedroom is situated on a half mile stretch of uncrowded white sandy beach in the quiet unassuming beachfront community of Kahana. The Royal Kahana Resort is a first class Resort Condominium conveniently located between the fabulous resort areas of Kaanapali Beach and Kapalua Bay. We are just a few minutes drive to the historic whaling town of Lahaina, the superb shops and restaurants at Whalers Village Shopping Center in Kaanapali, and the Championship Golf Courses at Kapalua.

Our condo is ideally located in a very private setting towards the beachfront corner on the 5th floor. From both the livingroom and bedroom, it boasts MAGNIFECENT DIRECT ocean views with the Island of Molokai on the horizon. We even mirrored the livingroom wall, so YOU ARE VIRTUALLY SURROUNDED BY OCEAN!Absolutely beautiful modern designer furnishings and decor. There is a full kitchen, washer, dryer, cable TV,,CD , DVD player, FREE INTERNET ACCESS. King bed and queen sofa sleeper,easily accommodating 4 guests. Central air and ceiling fans provide maximum comfort. Very spacious, 778 sq. ft. plus lanai.

Amenities at the Royal Kahana include a large heated pool surrounded by a sundeck, and adjacent to a sunning beachfront lawn area to take in the sweeping ocean views. Whether you choose to swim in the pool, or sun yourself at the pool deck or beachfront lawn, or take a refreshing dip in the ocean...perhaps a little snorkeling or boogie boarding, or just a stroll down the white sandy beach, you will delight in the natural beauty surrounding you here at the Royal Kahana.

There are 4 gas-fired barbecue grills at the pool area, and a big poolside Cabana providing a dining area with captivating panoramic ocean views. For relaxed entertainment, there are ping pong tables and shuffleboard. Two lighted Tennis Court attract our more energetic guests. There is also an on site exercise room and sauna. The activity desk in the lobby is very helpful in planning your Maui activities. Internet access and conference room is also on site . Morning coffee is served in the lobby, and you will also enjoy meeting other guests at our weekly complimentary Mai Tai party. The Royal Kahana is within a very short walking distance to many local shops, convenience stores, and great casual to fine dining restaurants.

  • We have visited Maui yearly now for many years and always stay on this exact beach, but in a different complex. Not anymore; this is where we will return! Trust me, it doesn't get any better than this! This condo is literally feet from the ocean, just as the picture shows. You have all the comforts you need right here; a lovely beach, a lanai with a better view than any restaurant in town, comforts of home all around you, on a less traveled street within walking distance of anything you could possibly need, the sounds of the waves that put you to sleep at night, island tropical breeze throughout the condo, etc. I highly recommend this rental; Sherrie was easy to work with and we will definitely return. One special feature we really enjoyed was the workout room. It was more than adequate for what we needed, and most of the time we had it all to ourselves! You cannot go wrong in renting this unit; you will love it!

  • I have stayed in this condo 3 times since Sept. 2008. It is ocean front with outstanding views of Molokai, Lanai, sunsets, rainbows and turtles. Perfect for whale watching during the season. It is very comfortably and tastefully decorated and super clean, the photos do not do it justice. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals or snacks to save some money. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai and watch the weather change over Molokai. I encourage you to compare the daily rate with just a hotel room. No hotel room will come close to providing everything you need as this condo does and it will not have the great view. Check out the amenities listed. Located in Kahana, it is close to everything you need, shopping, restaurants, snorkling, Lahaina and Kaanapali. I enjoy working directly with the owner, Sherrie. She always responded very quicky to my inquiries. She is a real pleasure to work with and there is none of the nervousness you might feel, working with a hotel or larger organization and hoping you get what you pay for. No surprises here except that you will be pleasantly surprised at the value this condo provides.
