We are just completing our third stay (1 month) at this beautiful suite and couldn't be more satisfied. The location has everything but we especially like the sound of the surf which lulls us to sleep every night through the open windows. The beach front is excellent for swimming and snorkelling and there is a pool as well. The condo is well equipped with all the amenities needed for an excellent meal. We like to stock up at Costco upon our arrival and then feast like kings-- Lobster, Ahi, King crab, steak, and shrimp have been on the menus this trip. We enjoyed our trip so much we just booked another 1 month's stay! I highly recommend this suite-- it is excellent value.

Wake up to the sound of waves...

My husband and I stayed at this condo for a month. It had everything one could need, except a pizza cutter, so we bought one and left it there! Towels are fluffy, washer/dryer very convenient, quiet building, plenty of parking (we parked underground all the time), close to quick mart and gas, about two miles from a grocery store. The overall building is very well maintained. If you go into Lahaina, on Front Street, be sure to catch AnnaBelle and Warren's Magic show. We have been to Maui twice and would see the show for the third time. There are many galleries and really good restaurants all over the island, but be sure to not miss, "Mama's Fish House" and "Pacifico's". Out of this world food and atmosphere, Mama's for lunch, Pacifico's for early dinner to watch the sunset. Both are very expensive, but WORTH every penny. When you walk in Momm's Fish House, you think you are on a Hollywood set! Best gallery is Diamond Head Gallery on Front Street. As for this specific condo, what a bargain! We stayed at a top resort the first time around on Maui, and it was fun, but, why pay the high price? Don't miss the Maui Ocean Center! Be sure to go on a "Great Adventures" whale watch. My camera broke during the trip and I told the captain. She let us come back for free for a second time! Skip the half sub ride and the road to Hana...both a waste of time. The photos depict the condo perfectly. I have recommended it to friends and will continue to! Aloha!

I have been coming to Maui since 1985 and have stayed at many Hotels and Condos, including many on Kaanapali Beach. This is my second visit to Royal Kahana and first visit to your condo. We will definitely book your condo again on our next trip! The view is wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded and your condo is stocked with everything one would need. We prefer to do a lot of in room dining and to find a kitchen with a variety of pans, dishes and silverware is rare! Your condo is very spacious, appealing and comfortable! Grocery stores very close by and short hop to Kaanapali or Lahaina to enjoy all those have to offer for shopping, dining, beaches and activities. Mahalo, Betty & Jerry

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. Your pictures on your website don't do your unit justice. We were so pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the ocean and all the beautiful sites of maui that were before us. We were greeted with a turtle climbing up onto the beach, beautiful sunsets, watching sailboats go by, kite surfing(?I think that is what is is called). The location to activities was wonderful. The unit had all items that we needed for the beach, cooking, etc. Thanks so much for letting us experience going to sleep to the sound of the surf, and waking up to the sound of the surf, we hope we can make it back here in the future, thanks so much. Relaxing Hideaway!

Wonderful location, great facilities, this was a dream vacation! The condo was exactly as advertised with many extras! The beach chairs, boogie boards and cooler were wonderful perks! BBQ's at the condo were clean and we were able to use them nightly with no waits. Front desk staff were helpful, pool was immaculate and overall, the condo was very well kept. The building was a little older than we expected, but has been well maintained and was in great condition. Sherri was a pleasure to work with...very accommodating and helpful! We are looking forward to our next vacation here!

FABULOUS LOCATION

Our condo was exactly as shown on the website. Very comfortable, immaculate, well supplied and best of all extremely close to the ocean. We loved hearing the waves and seeing the beautiful sunsets. Also saw many whales from our lanai. We enjoyed the view so much that we tended to stay home more than we had planned. Location is super. Six miles from Lahaina Village. Would highly recommend the China Boat restaurant which is only 5 minutes from the condo. Fabulous food at a reasonable cost. We went to Warren and Annabelle's Magic Show which was outstanding. Mama's Fish House is expensive but we had one of the best meals we have ever had. Loved our week at Sherrie's condo and only wished we had booked it for a longer stay. We hope to return for 2 weeks next time.

Many whale sightings from the Lanai

Three weeks and over five hundred whale sightings from the lanai. Sherrie took great care of us. A few repairs were taken care of quickly and easily by Sherrie. The views are fantastic and three turtles come each evening to feed right off the beach. A few great eats: China Boat an easy walk to the left about 5 minutes from the condo, lunch specials $ 7.99 Cashew nut chicken, especially good. Flatbread Pizza company right before the light in Paia on the left on the Hana Highway, chicken bacon ranch or Kaluha pork were both awesome. Coconuts hawaiian tacos, next door to the Harley Davidson shop in the Azeka Mall South, in south Maui, great tacos, best we've found. Want to take some great whale pictures, Ultimate Whalewatch at slip 17 in Lahina, 15 minutes away. I got a calf breaching, competition pods head lunging, spy hopping, tail slapping and some teenage whales kicking their tails and lower body halfway out of the water. Great photos and great crew. If you'd rather be on a big boat, Pacific Whale Watch is hard to beat. You can join and get a couple membership for $60 with one free whalewatching trip, plus 20 percent off of any other whale watches you book and the same discount off the dinner cruise... our food was great, steaks cooked to order right on the boat and whale sightings thrown in for free. What great fun. Thanks Sherrie!!

Would definitely recommend renting this property --- just like home except the oceanfront location and wonderful view --- we came for whale watching and we did that right from our condo. We met the owner and she was wonderful -- we were four women sharing the condo and were very comfortable!!! Close to Kaanapali and Lahaina --- shopped at Costco and were glad when we saw the prices at Safeway!! Ate at the Sea House at Napilli and the Gazebo for a great breakfast. All in all a good experience and would not hesitate to rent this unit again!!!

Montana Beach Runners

We have rented this Condo from Sherrie twice in the last two years and will keep renting from her. The Condo offers all the location conveniences needed and some of the best views on the Island while feeling away from the tourist crowd and the people at the Royal Kahana treat you as if you were family. Sherrie is a real pleasure to work with and would recommend this Condo highly.

This was another great experience staying in unit Kahana. As usual, the accomadations were more than adequate with everything provided we would need to make our stay enjoyable. The owner is very easy to work with and always interested in making sure that her condo will prove to be an "excellent home away from home". If all goes as planned we anticipate booking our 2011 vacation in the same unit as it meets all our needs in every way.

Staying here really made the start of our Hawaii vacation. Sherrie's condo is a very well-kept place with great views of the ocean and the nearby Molokai island. The bedroom faces the ocean and we kept the windows open enough each night so we'd go to bed and wake up with the sound of the waves. The building's public areas are neat and the grill deck served us some great dinner a few nights. The supplied beach boards and paraphernalia really came in handy as well. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, except when we're coming back to Maui (since we'd want it for ourselves then!). Great place to stay, great price, low on hassle and high on enjoyment.

We have visited Maui yearly now for many years and always stay on this exact beach, but in a different complex. Not anymore; this is where we will return! Trust me, it doesn't get any better than this! This condo is literally feet from the ocean, just as the picture shows. You have all the comforts you need right here; a lovely beach, a lanai with a better view than any restaurant in town, comforts of home all around you, on a less traveled street within walking distance of anything you could possibly need, the sounds of the waves that put you to sleep at night, island tropical breeze throughout the condo, etc. I highly recommend this rental; Sherrie was easy to work with and we will definitely return. One special feature we really enjoyed was the workout room. It was more than adequate for what we needed, and most of the time we had it all to ourselves! You cannot go wrong in renting this unit; you will love it!

I have stayed in this condo 3 times since Sept. 2008. It is ocean front with outstanding views of Molokai, Lanai, sunsets, rainbows and turtles. Perfect for whale watching during the season. It is very comfortably and tastefully decorated and super clean, the photos do not do it justice. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals or snacks to save some money. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai and watch the weather change over Molokai. I encourage you to compare the daily rate with just a hotel room. No hotel room will come close to providing everything you need as this condo does and it will not have the great view. Check out the amenities listed. Located in Kahana, it is close to everything you need, shopping, restaurants, snorkling, Lahaina and Kaanapali. I enjoy working directly with the owner, Sherrie. She always responded very quicky to my inquiries. She is a real pleasure to work with and there is none of the nervousness you might feel, working with a hotel or larger organization and hoping you get what you pay for. No surprises here except that you will be pleasantly surprised at the value this condo provides.
