The #2 Cedar Cottage is perfect for a couple with or without kids.It is modern and stocked with linens and kitchen utensils.Enjoy lake views from the deck as you grill on the Weber.It is only 15-20 minutes from all parts of Madison,yet is located in a rural country setting. Rent kayaks or the pontoonboat ,bike the rolling hills,or bring your own boat and enjoy uncrowded 3000 acre Lake Kegonsa.
The bedroom has a queen bed.There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living area.There is a full bathroom and a complete kitchen. The cottage is small and best suited for 2 people,but many parents have brought 1 or 2 children and have been comfortable.No pets allowed.

My children, parents and I stayed in Cabin 2 for a week in September. We had a great time. The cottage has all the comforts of home, great views of the lake, and a nice deck to relax on. We do a lot of fishing and boating while we're at Crown Point Resort and try to make it to see Frank once a year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My wife and I spent the past 5 days at Crown Point Resort on Lake Kegonsa, near Stoughton,WI. The cabin was well maintained, clean, neat, and "just like home." The lake was beautiful, sunrise was spectactular The owner, Frank, was friendly and helpful. I was able to fish from the dock, and caught several large fish. I also hired a fishing guide, at a reasonable cost, for some lake fishing. Doug is a long time resident of the lake and knows where the fish are. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this resort.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Hi season,holiday,and events Rates May 10-Oct 15 $625/week or $95-$105 night Sat-Sat rentals during the summer or we will split the week into 2 pieces Fall,Winter,Spring $495/week or $80-$90 night with 2-3 night min.stay 50% deposit needed to make a reservation.Balance due upon arrival.Open credit card needed for security upon check-in.Cancellations: deposit will be lost if we cannot rerent the reserved nights. NO PETS. Must be 25. We have 5 other cottages,some open all winter.No smoking. No bachelor/bachelorette groups.We are a laid back quiet family resort.
