  Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful.   Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with the lay out of the home. There was space for everyone to do their own thing, yet be in the general vicinity together. The view is stunning and the home very clean. We got lucky with clear sunny skies our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this to a family with teenagers. The Wifi connection was a too slow to really use. Other than that a great spot. Manager responded on 2/23/2013: Thank you for your response. We have not had issues with the WiFi before, but are looking into this. As always, it helps to call us during your stay so we can help you while you are here.

  Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Strawberry Hill has many features we really wanted for our Christmas holiday. Enough bedrooms, large kitchen, fenced yard, and a well maintained hot tub. However, the overall condition of the house was disappointing for the money. Its obvious the house is old and had many inexpensive love old houses! The wood deck around the hot tub is dangerously slippery. We had a wonderful time,but will not rent that house again. Manager responded on 2/23/2013: We are so sorry you had this experience. WE have had hundreds of guests in this house, and everyone loves this house as it is a traditional vacation rental home. It is a beach house that the owners have been using for years as their getaway, and as you may have learned, there are very few standalone homes on the entire Long Beach Peninsula this close to the beach and with this view. Bloomer Estates manages the vast majority of ocean front homes, so we are hopeful you will come talk to us about another property. WE have other high end new homes on the ocean that you may try (Knoles, Ragos, 1303 Bay Ave etc) We have also fixed the slippery deck around the hot tub.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed at strawberry hill for thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The house is large and the beds comfortable and the location was great. We walked the beach is a quiet and well kept property. We plan to go again next year and try a different property that this company manages.

The hot tub was in a great location overlooking the ocean, and a bald eagle even flew over a couple of times. Absolutely magical

  Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was nice, the view was great, hot tub was great, location would have been great except for the stalker neighbors. We were watched from the moment we entered the property throughout the entire stay. Everyone who stayed with or vistited us was greeted by a leering neighbor. It was greepy and voyeuristic. Honestly I was a bit embarrassed since I chose the property and got an earful the entire vacation. Seems as if it should be dicounted in price due to the extreme lack of privacy. It was living in lockdown. We quickly surmized this is why it was availble to rent last minute. We may rent with Bloomer Estates again - but definetly NOT this house.
