  As a college reunion, my friends and I stayed here for the weekend. From booking the rental and speaking with Pat, to enjoying the beautiful scenery, the entire experience was a positive one. It has exceeded our expectations and we hope to return in a year. The care and devotion the owners have committed to the house is evident through the wonderful experience our group has had. The security deposit was also returned in less than 48 hrs. There is nothing to complain except for not staying longer!

  We recently stayed at this property for a week, at the end of August.. We loved the property. The house was big and spacious, and beautifully decorated..Felt very homey.. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, looking out on the lake..Taking the Canoe out, cooking out at night, feeding the ducks that would come right up out of the water, every morning, into the back yard. Taking walks around the area, seeing tons of deer.. Bike riding, and going to the pool, which was a short drive away. It didn't hurt, that the week was a beautiful week, weather wise.. We will Definitely rent this property again..

  This house is greate for many types of groups.The photos don't do it justice. It's bigger inside and the master bedroom upstairs is huge. You'll feel guilty for using it. Everyone who walked in was impressed with the size, decor, and layout, and wanted to know how I found this house. The greatroom is wonderful for allowing groups to hang out and talk. The house was clean and cool when I walked in, and there is a small vaccum to clean up little messes that creep up. Instructions for turning on the well and putting out trash were right there for us. I rented for two weeks in the summer as a rolling birthday party. We had 3 people for a weekend, and it was great to relax and see the sights in the area including a waterpark and the casino. We also sat on the porch at night and watched the stars. I had 12 adults and 8 kids in one day (fewer overnight) and everyone found something to do -- Rowing on the lake, going to the pool, babies could nap, there were board games and badmitton, and plenty of room for eating dinner and decorating cupcakes. We never had to turn the large flat screen TV on. I then had 12 family members and an infant for 5 - 6 days. Everyone had their own space. Ipads and a wii did appear, but boat rides, trips to Dorney and Hershey Park were just as fun as the pool. It was easy to childproof. There were life jackets for kids. I recommend checking the cupboards before buying supplies like soap , paper plates, salt and pepper, laundry detergent, etc. The house is centrally located, and very well appointed. Attractive decor was better than what we expected in a rental. There's lots of light from skylights and huge windows onto the lake. CVS, Walmart, Weiss supermarket, McDonalds, Perkins all within a 5 minute drive. Pat, the owner is very responsive and can get you info very fast. For aldults I recommend Jim Thorpe with the Prison Museum, the quaint shops, and the restaurant Flow. For something more active, biking down the 25-mile Delaware River Gorge is fun, but shuttles to bring you back after 10 miles only work on weekends. Dorney Park is good for 4 -6 yo, because they are allowed on rides. There are plenty of brochures to give you ideas, and the local restaurant Reilly's is great. My only regret is that there was no hot tub, but with so many people, and so many kids, that's probably best. I would recommend it to my friends, but I don't need to, since they have all seen it for themselves.

  Great clean place. It was only myself and my two sons but you could have slept at least ten more people comfortably. All home amentities. Clean grill. Lake views from almost everywhere in the house.Nice boat to get around the lake whcih has plenty of fish or you could just walk out the door to the dock and cast. Quiet. Comfortable. It was an all around great experience. Owners are accessible through the payment and deposit refund process.Priced fairly. I dont want to say much more or someone will take my spot for next year!

  Me and my four girlfriends had a blast staying at this lakefront vacation home a few weeks ago. It is rustic but beautifully decorated and updated inside. It was great having up to date appliances, washer and dryer and multiple bathrooms. We were all there to participate in the Tough Mudder 2012 Mud Run which was located just over a mile away from the house. Perfect location, WIFI, and most importantly a comfy feel that made our girls weekend even more fun! The owners are wonderful about keeping in contact with you and making sure you have everything you need. We plan on making a trip to the Poconos an annual thing!
