Our family recently stayed at this listing and could not have been happier with the property. It completely exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient to the beach, Night Heron Park and the new swimming pools. We walked or biked almost everywhere during the week. The home was decorated beautifully and we had everything we needed for a stress-free week on Kiawah Island. We didn't want to leave! We will be recommending this property to all our friends and family and would love to return as soon as possible.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We recently purchased this Cottage for our family after falling in love with it and beautiful Kiawah Island on a vacation. We visit as often as we can!
Why the Owner Chose Night Heron Cottages:
After much traveling, we decided Kiawah Island was the place for our second home because of the nature, conveniences and beauty of the Island. We have spent time on many other beaches but found we wanted to be steps away from the beaches of Kiawah.
After a stroll or bike ride on the Kiawah Island beaches, you will see what we mean. The many restaurants on the island are amazing...You can eat out every night if you wish and enjoy something unique and delicious or if you prefer, you can eat in and enjoy the fully stocked kitchen to prepare your favorites.
But don't miss Mingo Night every Monday during the summer. It is an outdoor, all-you-can-eat Southern barbecue and Oyster roast. Along with the live music and beautiful sunset, it can't be beat!
We also love being so close to the city of Charleston. The food, culture and history of this beautiful city is an added benefit to staying on Kiaway Island.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
At our home away from home, you can park your car and experience the entire island on foot, bike or free shuttle service. The Island boasts over 30 miles of scenic bike trails guarenteed to be full of the natural habitat.
Wether you enjoy spending time on award-winning golf courses and tennis courts, swimming, kayaking, going on nature tours, pampering yourself at the spa or just relaxing on the beach, chances are you will fall in love with Kiawah Island as quicky as we did!
