Come to this CAMANO RETREAT to REST, RELAX and RESTORE mind and body, A prefect GETAWAY for the Girls, for Couples, for Anyone looking for the Serenity of Island Living. It's only an hour from the big city attractions of Seattle, but it seems a world away!!
Our lovely home on the hill has great views - light, bright living space with comfortable furniture for relaxing and enjoying the calm and quiet , the sunsets over Whidbey Island , the Saratoga Passage and the wildlife. When you're ready to EXPLORE the island you will find near-by beaches for taking strolls, trails for hiking, shops and galleries for browsing. Afterwards, you can eat in and enjoy views from the dining room or one of the two decks. Or, if you like, you can eat out at one of the many restaurants in Camano or Stanwood.
At night, sleep in COMFORT on the luxury mattresses and linens in each of the bedrooms: the master with a King bed and bath with spa tub and separate shower, the Queen bedroom that shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom containing two twins. All will give you a RESTFUL NIGHT in preparation for another day 'in Paradise'.

This delightful house was rented for four pharmacy students visiting the northwest (three for the first time). They were awed by the house and grounds, location and the views. The house became a wonderful base as well as a home for ten days. I would happily recommend this house to anyone needing a place on this island.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We were celebrating a wedding on Camano Island and it was so wonderful to have such a lovely home for extra guests to use and enjoy. Everything was perfect from the view to the comfortable beds. The house was immaculately clean and so welcoming. We will certainly use again when we have extra family and friends in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful house with a wonderful view. Very quiet location. The house is even more lovely than the photos show. The gardens are attractive and everything is well maintained. It is the perfect location for a quiet retreat. The owners were cooperative, hospitable and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

About the owner: My husband and I are retired and live in California. I wanted a place that would be a home-away-from- home in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Seattle and I still have family and friends there. I'm a quilter, my husband collects vinyl records and we share our lives with 4 dogs and 2 cats.
Why the Owner Chose Camano Island:
I have lived in So. Calif. for many years now but I still miss the Northwest. We looked at some homes on Whidbey but childhood friends suggested Camano and that's where we found the prefect vacation home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Camano Island is so beautiful - the water, the trees, the fresh air! The peace and quiet of the neighborhood. And I was delighted to find so many good restaurants and fun places to browse and shop. I'm looking forward to making more discoveries on Camano.
