  My sisters and I used this cottage on Mother’s Day weekend! The owner’s were very helpful, offering lists of restaurants and attractions. It was so clean and comfortable (looked just like the pictures), was easy to find and had everything we needed. We were greeted by music, one of us ate all the candy, and even the extra umbrellas were useful! We thoroughly appreciated that we could easily walk to the antique stores down the street and to the Main Street Franklin area. Friday’s festival was a plus. And lot’s of good restaurants in Franklin! We tried Mellow Mushroom, McCreary’s, Meridee’s Breadbasket…….Sweet CiCi’s ice cream was good and the food and entertainment at Puckett’s on Saturday night was fantastic! We toured Ryman’s and the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville and the Carnton Plantation in Franklin. Then we ran out of time so, we just might have to return. Wonderful place to stay!! I recommend it highly!

  Adorable! Such a cute home..decor is very neat. House is clean, beds are very comfy, and everything you could want is there. Owners were great to work with. Location is great, close to downtown Franklin. You will not regret renting this place. No worries here, we Loved it!

  Our visit to Nashville was to see some hockey and we decided to stay outside the city. This cottage was the perfect place to be out of the rate race. We were able to get downtown in about 20 minutes. The cottage was much more than we expected. It was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The attention to detail made us feel at home. When we arrived there were some treats on the table and music was playing in the living room. There was also a note from Patti and Bill welcoming us. Would highly recommend!!!!

  Our stay was all we hoped it would be. We had no way to really know, except the reviews we read whether this property was as nice as it appeared to be. It was! Warmly decorated, clean, bright, well appointed and the kitchen had everything and more that we needed. There was no picture of the master bathroom, so I was concerned that it might not be updated. It was lovely, with a large walk-in closet where we could tuck away all our clothes and suitcases. We loved our walking life, the proximity to downtown was perfect. Franklin is a lovely town with much to offer. Thanks again for answering all our questions and opening up your lovely cottage to us.

  Thank you so much Patti and Bill for sharing your cottage with us! It was even more charming than in the pictures. We had everything we needed from cooking utensils to comfy beds. We appreciated the tips you sent on places to visit in Franklin and enjoyed the fact that we could walk to many of them. This cottage and it's owners are a treasure and we are looking forward to renting again in the future.

  My friend and I spent 4 nights at cottage for a "gal retreat"….loads of space, convenient location, which was perfect for walking into Franklin's sweet historic town or getting on the road. Especially loved the breakfast room, filled with light where we eat our breakfasts, planned out our day and talk, talk, talk. While never meeting face-to-face, Patti stayed in touch to be sure we had gotten in safely (much appreciated) and we knew our requests would be answered. One caveat--the bedroom that faces the road gets the early morning traffic sounds. My friend has a hearing deficit but despite the nice noise-masking machine, she could feel vibrations from the cars. My bedroom was absolutely quiet, best for the light sleepers. All in all, a terrific place to stay during our Franklin/Nashville Celebration. Thanks, Patti & Bill

  Owner response: The one thing about having a home in the historic downtown area is the "downtown" part. Yes, Franklin is becoming an internationally known destination point and we do have lots of traffic in the few blocks that surround Main Street. There are commercial properties located on many of the streets as well, but that is how we get all of our restaurants, antique stores and fun shops as well as a self guided civil war tour through our streets to see the civil was homes and sites. The Harpeth River runs through town so we only have two access points "over the river and through the town". Inconvenient, yes! Love living here, absolutely. Thanks for staying with us and enjoying all that our town has to offer, despite the traffic nuisance.

  Our repeat visit to Bill and Patti's Franklin hideaway was every bit as enjoyable as our first. In fact, their continued improvements to the furnishings and amenities made an already wonderful experience that much more relaxing and convenient. This home is perfect for walking to and from the downtown Franklin area, so carryout breakfast from Meridee's and Puckett's was a must. We had such a good time we didn't want to leave. But we'll be back...

  We brought our mother with us so she could easily walk to the square and shop. The home is lovely. Decorated with class! We stayed 3 days and brought our own food to cook. I have stayed at many VRBO and this one was supplied with the sharp knives, new pots and pans and lovely dinnerware. The beds were comfortable, towels soft and a charming gas fireplace. Stop looking and rent this charming home!

  This was the perfect small home for our New Years eve stay. It had everything one would need for a comfortable stay, along with many charming and well thought out details. The owners were very responsive and generous with time and help. We would stay here again when we return to Franklin. The town of Franklin is charming, friendly and interesting with many fun shops and good restaurants.. It is well located but we found no reason to go beyond its borders.
