Welcome. Spend your vacation at our 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath postmodern home. It sits on a 1+ acre flag lot abutting a 23 acre wooded preserve. Stroll or bike to the bay beach.
But why leave? The kitchen belongs to a foodie. It has tons of gadgets and over 200 cookbooks. Gather herbs from the organic container garden surrounding the pool just steps from the kitchen. Or cook outdoors. There is a custom-built charcoal-fired Kamado and two different types of electric smokers. There are three separate outdoor dining areas: a bar-height table under an electric retractable awning; a table by the pool; and a table for six on the bluestone patio next to the waterfall that falls into a fishpond.
Daydream on a comfortable teak and mesh chaise lounge on the mahogany deck. Your pup has her own shaded all-weather wicker dog bed. The garden has been carefully designed to attract butterflies and repel deer: no mean feat.
After your tennis game, submerge in the jetted tub in the first floor destination bathroom. During cooler weather, light a fire in the wood-burning fireplace in the double-height great room.
When you decide to go exploring, all the storied villages of the Hamptons are nearby, both to the East and to the West. Hampton Bays is the most convenient of the Hamptons to the restaurants, farm stands, and wineries of the North Fork.
Our vacation home is located in a very quiet private area. It is not suitable for large groups or shares.
Upon request, the owner will be happy to arrange a private preview before booking.

Why the Owner Chose Hampton Bays:
Location. [Surprise.] We are in the Hamptons but not too far east. That means our son, born in 2008, does not get cranky sitting for hours on a two-lane road after leaving the Long Island Expressway. Our friends visiting from New England find the Orient Point car ferry convenient and relaxing. Our dog, born in 2010, romps in a dog park in Westhampton. Planful guests with sociable pups can take a seasonal membership.
