Freshly renovated in 2006, elegant, spacious and bright family-friendly Apartment on Zurichberg, 2nd Floor, 200 square meters., 4 Bedrooms, 3 full, modern bathrooms, new kitchen, antique hardwood floors, large living room, separate dining room with wood stove, two balconies, in the nicest part of Zurich, central to everything Europe has to offer. The neighborhood of Hottingen is close to all University Hospitals, the University + Politechnicum, the Art Museum, Bellevue, the Opera House, Lake of Zurich.

You will not need a car while you are here. You are also a brisk walk down to the crystal clear 30 mile long Lake of Zürich (which can also be circled by bike!), or a quick ride up to the forest and famous Dolder "wave" pool or ice skating rink for a totally refreshing change from the fast pace. My family spent 9 days in Zurich over Christmas and loved this apartment. The owners were very helpful with suggestions before we arrived, and when we arrived tried and jet-lagged, we found the apartment nicely decorated for Christmas. They were really wonderful. The apartment is very spacious and nicely appointed. Each room is of a good size. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a lovely dining room with candles and a wood stove for dining in. The location is fantastic. You can walk to the lake, museums, or town. There is also a tram stop just one block away. You are right in town, but it is a quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this spot to all considering a stay in Zurich.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family stayed here for a week this past August (2010). We absolutely loved the apartment - spacious, clean and bright. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed walking around Zurich from here or hopping a tram to anywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very pleasant to interact with and gave us lots of useful information about the nearby area. I highly recommend this apartment.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were very lucky this flat was available Christmas week of 2006. It was the loveliest Holiday we've had in a long time. The apartment was over the top with all the amenities, location and kindness of the owners. The owner helped with so much, plus the apartment was gorgeous!! Thanks
