  One of four siblings w/spouses for family trip. This was our second time to stay in this beautiful home. Photos and descriptions do not do this place justice! You will be delighted with this property! Owner was very accommodating (thanks for the waffle iron!!). Beds are top notch; everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! Highest recommendation!! Also, thanks for the recommendation to drive to Darien for seafood at Skipper's Fish Camp. (Note to Todd: did I tell you my little Sophie would have loved it here!!!)

  This was our second stay. A few changes since our last stay that made it even better. Plenty of space for everyone. Very responsive owners. The best of all places we have stayed in the southeast. Excellent in every way.

  This is an absolutely beautiful house with everything a family needs. We had a great time at this house and St. Simons was amazing. We loved the Electric car and 4 bikes which come with the rental. Trust the reviews and give this property a try on your next visit to St. Simons. The neighborhood was peaceful and the beach is just one block from the house. This house never runs out of hot water as its on a tank less water heater. The beds are amazing and very cozy. The pool is beautiful and always clean!!! Overall, thumbs up to property owners for their careful attention to detail so that they can guarantee an amazing stay for their guests.

  I have rented vacation homes at least twice a year for the last twenty years. They ALL pale by comparison. Scott and Heather have created the consumate vacation home; a place where memories are made. There were seven of us from 13 to 87. None of us could find fault with this wonderfully appointed and decorated cottage. There was ample room for all of us to spend together and places to escape when you wanted some space to yourself. The kitchen had everything you could think of and more. The beds were heavenly, covered with beautiful crisp sheets. The pool was lovely and private. All this and a picture perfect beach less than a block away. The bikes and the electric car provided great modes of transportation for sightseeing. Did I forget to mention "CLEAN"? It was SPOTLESS! Cullen was a gem to deal with from start to finish. I had the opportunity to meet his father, Todd, also a great guy. Take my advice and spend some time there. You, too, will be amazed.   My girlfriends and I were thrilled the moment we walked in the door. The house is everything advertised and then some, it was beautiful and well appointed, yet with all the comforts from home. The pictures certainly don't do it justice, the home offered plenty of space for all of the eleven women enjoying the weekend. Cullen (the owner) was readily available for a minuscule problem that arose. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for any SSI visitors!

  We rented this house in August of 2012 for a family vacation, there were 8 adults. The house was huge and is actually much nicer than the pictures posted would indicate. The master bedroom itself was as large as a small apartment. Every bedroom though was large enough and each had it's own full bathroom. There was an additional half bath downstairs as well. All appliances were very modern and worked well. Upon arrival the house was spotless and perfect. A bottle of wine was left for us which was a nice touch after a 12 hour drive to get there. The house is a very short walk to the beach, it took us just over a minute to walk there. The beach itself is nice and large, especially during low tide. During high tide there is still plenty of beach for everyone. The bicycles, beach toys and the electric car all worked very well. The pool was great and after several days there the owners sent over a maintenance crew that cleaned and made sure everything was just right. Speaking of the owners were very easy to deal with, we only had one issue that was dealt right away. I really cannot say enough about this house, it was absolutely perfect and we very much enjoyed our stay. If you want a relaxing beach vacation for a large group, this is the place!

  After coming to St. Simon's for more than 25 years, this is the nicest property we've rented. It's been recently renovated and the pictures don't do it justice. It's even nicer than the pictures--very open feeling in the communal areas, roomy, latest appliances (some of which we could never figure out how to use), extremly clean and well maintained. Very comfortable for the 8 of us, with room to be together and be apart. The salt water pool is a very nice addition to the lovely house along with the smoker, the electric car, and the little touches like a bottle of wine left for us, the well stocked supplies, and the very responsive follow-up when we needed some attention. Every other place we have stayed, even the nicest didn't have the amentities of this house. In addition, the location of the house on 13th is excellent with great access to the best beach on St. Simon's. Cullen's (the owner) father lives on the island and can easily be reached in case an issue rises. My only critique would be of the scheduling and follow-up. Cullen is a very busy surgeon and he can be hard to make contact with and doesn't live on the island. I would have been more comfortable in using VBRO if there was someone who could be more responsive and accessible during the reservation activity and in response to follow-up questions before we actually arrived on St. Simon's. But our overall experience was top notch and we'll definitely reserve this house again for our yearly family trip to St. Simon's. I recommend it without reservation.

Our goal is to make the house the best rental on the island, and communication will improve with my wife taking over the rental of the property. I do not live on the island, I wish I did... but visit often....my dad is essentially the caretaker of the property. He is READILY available. Glad you all enjoyed your stay. I am putting together a quick users guide to the kitchen appliances, washer drier, etc...

  This house is everything the description says. It is by far the cleanest rental home I've ever seen and the furniture and appliances are top-notch. I was there on a writing retreat and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. The house is within a four minute walk of the beach which goes on forever, plus the home comes with a pool that is in excellent working order. All of the owner's instructions were easy to follow. This was a perfect rental house!

  The house was exactly as advertised. Great location, only one block from the beach, free use of golf cart, professional appliances, large bedrooms. Great open floor plan with screened porch and pool. A nice touch is that any small problems can be remedied by owner's father who lives in the area. First timer to SSI and will definitely return.
