This extraordinary three-bedroom, two and a half bath home is one that you won't want to miss. Situated on the Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course, it provides impressive views of both the course and the surrounding mountains! The private back deck allows you to relax in the hot tub and listen to the trickle of Fish Creek Falls or just take in the beauty of the Yampa Valley. This property is perfect for summer vacations or winter getaways! Whether you like to ski or snowboard or you prefer summer in the mountains, this home has everything you're looking for.
Located just around the corner from the base of Mount Werner and minutes from downtown Steamboat, this home suits all types! The main floor has an inviting living room with two story stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a half bath. There is also a TV with DVD and cable in the living room, as well as a CD player/stereo. The home is also equipped with wireless internet throughout.
Downstairs, there are two bedrooms: one bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and another bedroom featuring bunkbeds with a queen-size bed on bottom, and a twin-size bed on top. These bedrooms share a bath complete with granite countertops and a tub/shower.The lower level also features a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king-size bed, a woodburning fireplace, cable TV and a private deck. Upon request, a bunk/rec room with a pool table that sleeps 4 may be available for an additional fee, pending availability.
Our family has enjoyed all that Steamboat has to offer for almost 30 years and we will continue to come back for many years to come. The Steamboat Ski Resort and its 'champagne powder' has been voted #1 family destination in the west by Ski Magazine six years in a row. There are many fun things to do for non-skiers as well... shopping, movie theatre, museum, Strawberry Park Hot Springs, Ice Skating, Public Library, Steamboat Springs Health & Recreation (has hot springs and a water slide) and much more.
Steamboat is as much fun in the summer as it is in winter. You may enjoy scenic hikes, tubing down the river, mountain and trail biking, the Rodeo or spa treatments. Special events also fill the summer months - be sure to check the Chamber of Commerce calendar for an up-to-the-minute schedule!

This review is about the owner. Dealing with a good owner is just as important as the place. Due to a reservation snafu, not her, we needed a one night stay. I sent out probably a hundred requests, all saying there was availability on their calendar. Being a vrbo owner myself in winter park, I don't like one nighters. But with only a few days notice, I try to help out. Sara was one one of three owners, (no property managers at all wanted to waste their time), to take time out to respond and help. We lucked out and had perfect snow and powder conditions for our stay. The house is beautiful, it is actually a duplex which we were surprised by, but nobody was home next door so it didn't matter. Hot tub on the deck was used a lot! The home itself is very cozy and perfect for a family gathering. Great location, close to shuttle parking for skiing and close to downtown. My only suggestion for improvement would be more room in kitchen for our food. The refrigerator and freezer were nearly full when we arrived, and there was no pantry space for food. Basically all of our food was stored in bags on the floor or counter, or in a cooler on the deck or in the garage. There were 9 of us for 5 days, so this was a bit of an inconvenience. The owners kept in close contact and were very easy to work with. All in all a very nice place and great Christmas vacation. This place had it all! We had our two sons and four of their friends with us....plenty of room! The hot tub and pool table were a huge plus....as was the sauna! Close to the hill and convenient to shopping...this place was fantastic!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We took our 3 year old for a summer trip - and had a ball! We really enjoyed Steamboat and this house was terrific! The kitchen was fully equiped, living space was fantastic and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The house is super clean and very comfortable. We'd go back again and again - loved Steamboat in the summer - lots of Hot Air Balloons, gondola ride to top of mt. was fun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
