This licensed City of Austin rental home is a modernized 1920's 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has all the character you want in a historic home with all the modern amenities you need. The home sleeps up to 6 people with the addition of a brand new queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has beautiful queen sized canopy bed and an en suite full bath with shower. The second bathroom is also full but instead of a traditional shower, it has a very large bathtub with European style hand shower head. Enjoy a long a relaxing bath here! The second bedroom also contains a queen sized bed with all new sheets. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, new range, refrigerator, and dish washer and also has a stacked washer and dryer for your use. The house has cable TV and wireless internet as well as a portable Bluetooth speaker to play your own music inside or outside the house. The backyard is very large, newly landscaped, and is a great place to grill on the charcoal grill provided. And don't miss the front porch! Brand new to the Austin rental market in November 2013 and located in very hip East Austin and two blocks from several restaurants and bars in the historic E. 11th Street District including Franklin Barbeque (as seen on TV with Anthony Bourdain and the winners of many Best TX BBQ polls). This updated 1920's bungalow is within a mile of UT, SXSW music venues, the Texas State Capital and downtown. It is also 0.7 miles from the E. 6th Street area that can't be beat for live music, cocktails, and some of Austin's most innovative food- think one of Austin's newest restaurants 'Qui' by Top Chef winner Paul Qui or if you ask me, the far better trailer food by Qui at his East Side King trailers (Check them out in dive bars 'The Liberty', 'Shangri-La', and 'The Grackle' - all on E. 6th Street.

Why the Owner Chose Other Austin Properties: We bought this property in September of 2013 from one of our good friends, Natalie -thus, the name Natalie's house. We had always admired the historic character of the house and you really cannot beat this location. Natalie loved the house and was sad to when she outgrew it. We love it every bit as much as she did and hope that you will love Natalie's house as much as we do!
