Privately owned one-bedroom, single story cottage on Lily Way. Views of Lily Rock & Marion Ridge. California king bed, full size sofa bed in living room, rock fireplace, small kitchen, cute dining area and bathroom with shower.
Lily Cottage is historic Idyllwild: origianlly built as part of a summer camp at the turn of the last century (the second room was added on later) and is reported to have been used in the filming of the Elvis Presley movie, "Kid Galahad". The original part of the building is made up of the cozy living room with rock fireplace, dining area with a view, small kitchen and 3/4 bath. Down a couple steps is a spacious master bedroom with sitting area, wood burning stove, TV, writing desk, and Cal king bed. The cottage has a cute entry porch and a larger deck and outdoor sitting areas off of the bedroom.
The quiet upper Fern Valley location is minutes to either Humber Park's hiking and climbing trailheads or down valley in to the village area. The property is at the end of a cul-de-sac nestled among pines, cedars and manzanita and offers dramatic views to Lily Rock and peaks of Marion Ridge.
