Come stay in this unique Deltec home, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tastefully decorated to make you feel just as cozy as at home. The location just 20 mintues west of Asheville will allow you to experience all that this area has to offer.
The large kitchen has been outfitted with whatever the cook may need. For outdoor cooking a Weber propane grill is provided. The spacious wrap around deck has a comfortable setting with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains.
The spacious bedrooms are supplied with all the linens that are needed to enjoy your stay. Downstairs den is complete with movie library and surround sound to make a perfect movie night.
The Asheville area hosts many seasonal favorites: Bele Chere--in July-The largest street festival in the southeast--berry picking time in early Spring and Summer--Apple picking time in September. The Farmers Market in Spring thru Fall--Sliding rock, golf, historical sites including the Carl Sandburg Home, Biltmore Estate, and many more. Other activities included: hiking, biking, walking, fishing, river rafting, horseback riding, shopping, dining, outdoor plays, just to name a few.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required to access the property.

This house was exactly as pictured. The view from the deck was fabulous. We were lucky to stay on a perfect fall weekend with sunny days and cool nights. The house was well furnished and very comfortable. It was also extremely clean. My only suggestions were that it would have been nice to have more comfortable outdoor furniture for sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Also, more china would be good. We entertained family from Asheville one night and had to pull dirty dishes out of the dishwasher and wash them in order to have enough. As advertised - you must have a 4 wheel drive to access the house. This keeps the house off the beaten path and it feels very private. We enjoyed the Blue Ridge Parkway, playing golf in Maggie Valley and visiting the Arboretum in Asheville. Thanks for a lovely home and a great weekend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.
