A nice house that is well equipped and comfortable. Wonderful pool and just a small distance to the bridge by the canal. Close to great shopping and wonderful beaches. We were often on Sanibal island. We will return to Cape Coral in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was still better than the pictures show. We spent hours on the lanai enjoying the pool and relaxing. Neighbourhood was very quiet. The house was cleaned, well maintained and very comfortable too. Everything we needed was provided. Property manager, Pal, was very helpful. Golf courses, beaches and nature parks were only a short distance away. We would recommend this home to anyone. We look forward to returning next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Tom and I were very happy with the house and it's location to everything we needed. We spent almost everyday in the pool (which was great), and made good friends with some of the neighbors. Took a boat ride to Marco Island, saw theYankee's play, took a trip to Palm Island and we even found a Flea Market. We even managed to fit in a great sunset on Fort Myres Beach and the Dogs races.....I don't think we miss to much...hope to be back next year to the same place........Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We so enjoyed our stay in this home. A very quiet neighborhood to relax and enjoy outdoor pool and lanai. My husband fished daily off the dock, and was thrilled to catch a few snook and crevelle jack. Owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We were within thirty minutes of some our favorite places, such as, beaches, restaurants, day trips. We would recommend Rumrunners, Monkey Bar restaurants, also the best fresh seafood in one shop, which is Merrick's. Overall, we would definitely recommend this lovely home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do I appreciate you sharing your fishing strategies with me and I will be sure to share with future guests.I will be sure to put them to the test. We do hope you come and stay with us again. John, Jane

This two bedroom, two bath home was everything I expected and then some. My 3 year old granddaughter and I had an absolute blast. It’s well furnished and located in a quiet neighborhood yet stores, beaches, etc are just a short drive away. From the time you walk into the home, you will see it’s well cared for and spotless. This home is perfect for small children and adults of all ages. With two family rooms and a large dining area, it’s a lot larger than the pictures show. The interior is nicely remodeled with tile, large kitchen and breakfast bar. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality dishes, pans, and silver. The additional set of plastic dishes and paper plates were a nice surprise and perfect for use on the large lanai. The exterior of the home is absolutely amazing. It has a very large screened in lanai with an oversized swimming pool that overlooks the salt water canal. The lanai has a large covered area with table and chairs and, for the sun lovers, several loungers and other outdoor furniture are by the pool. We ate every meal outside as it was just so beautiful. The canal is wide with nice dock for fishing or watching wildlife. There is even a boat lift for those brining their own boats. The owner, John and property manager, Pal will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. In fact, Pal phoned and gave me names and directions to markets, etc. before I even left for Florida. While there, both John and Pal phoned to make sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this vacation rental and know you will have an amazing, stress-free vacation. Highlights: Swimming pool and outdoor lanai, no fragrance for those with perfume allergies, nicely furnished, laundry facilities in garage, high locks on sliders/ door to pool area making it safe for small children. Be sure to go to Sanibel Island as the beaches are incredible. Bowman beach has dressing areas and outdoor showers and we even saw an alligator in the bayou on the walk out to the beach. The Bubble Room for lunch or dinner is a must for young and old.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Brenda, Thank you for the kind words and so glad you and your granddaughter enjoyed our home and had a great time. We hope your closing goes well, and love to conect with you when we come down over dinner. Thank you John & Jane

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy waterfront Cape Coral Retreat and have already made plans to return again next year. Everything we could want or need was provided for even the beach towels and fishing rods. It was so wonderful to be able to step out onto the lanai for an evening swim after spending the day at the beach. The lanai was also a great spot to sit in the evenings to watch the fish jumping in the canal or the boaters pass by. One of the highlights of our trip was to take our kayaks up the canal only steps from the back door. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The flat screen tv's and free wifi were a definite plus. We loved going to Sanibel and Captiva Island which were only a short distance away. I will recommend this vacation rental to all my friends and family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Jim & Rhonda Glad you guys enjoyed your stay, sounds like you had lots of fun. Thank you for for nice review. Hope to see you come back again next year. John & Jane

About the owner: We Live in NJ and love to travel to Florida on business and vacation. It's our getaway when the air is cold and the snow is deep.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast:
We were on business to Fort Myers when we discovered that we can stay in comfortable home for the same cost as a hotel. So we searched for a home that we could eventually retire to. This home is located on a quite street with no thru traffic so walking or biking is safe. We love the wow factor when we drive up to the home. If you were sitting in your house and it is snowing outside just imagine what a warm florida home would look like with the swaying palms and sunshining. This is that home and on the water also with you own dock.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy staying at our home sitting on the linai with a cup of coffee in the morning watching the fish jump and catching up on email. Shopping is minutes away. The beaches are a short trip across the bridge.
