  My brother and I had a great trip to The Oar Banks. This was my second trip in three months. It was perfect. We will return.

  There would be no way to accurately describe this property or these incredible people. The cabin is roomy, immaculate, & has everything anyone could need. The owners are beyond accommodating & are some of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. The cabin is secluded but the owners make sure you know where they can be reached if you need anything. My family cannot wait to go back!! This is by far the best deal around!!!

  Great place - well appointed, very comfortable, good location. There were even some spices and coffee if you forgot yours. Will stay there again. We did catch fish in Helton Creek!

  My family and I had an amazing time on our weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and cleaner than any place you will find. The property is filled with beautiful trails, tons of wildlife, pure seclusion, fire pits and much more. My 2 3yr olds ran around from sun up to sun down and had an absolute blast. The owners are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. We had to make a detour on the way up and came in from the back roads, and once we were close, the owners took time out of their day to find us and guide us to the cabin. The town is lovely, as well as the nearby towns. People are friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed staying here!

  Once again we enjoyed our stay at Barry and Connie's ! Everything was clean and ready for our arrival as always with a few upgrades to kitchen , flooring and outside. The weather also cooporated and the leaves were awesome. Having a great relaxing place to rest from all the sight seeing made the week trip very enjoyable and refreshing . My two sons 8 and 4 wanted to stay a few more days and not just to miss school ! Have lost count of visits...5or 6 now and look forward to the next opportunity to unwind at this peaceful place.!

  Just the vacation that we needed, owners were very helpful. Loved the scenic route they gave us. We will be back and i'm telling my parents........ Must see for yourself.....Just beautiful........

  We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very kind and helpful and the place was very clean and well stocked......really loved the renovations.We would definitely recommend this home to our friends.

  We loved the house!! It was very clean, linens, towels, pots, pans, everything you need! Great hiking trails and views. The owners went out of there way to make sure our stay was fantastic! Can't beat this deal.
