Relax in our large 3700 sq ft, beautifully decorated Eagle Crest Home with a view! Let the kids play in the upstairs game room, while you sit outside on the deck enjoying the blue skies and gorgeous Smith Rock view! If it's chilly out, turn on the stone fireplace and cozy up in the vaulted great room with a 60' flat screen TV, where you are still able to appreciate the stunning view!
We have spent a lot of time exploring local antique shops to decorate the house with a warm, rustic, vintage feel. Our house has 3 bedrooms- the master suite has a king bed, 42' flat screen TV, fireplace, and a private bathroom which includes a soaking tub. A downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with private full bathroom. The other downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, with a full bath just outside the room. There is a small TV room nestled between these two downstairs bedrooms. Upstairs, there is a den with a sofa bed and doors to shut to make private. We also have 2 twin mats (with bedding) to use anywhere. The huge upstairs game room has another sofa bed, as well as a blow up queen mattress. The game room also has a poker table, foosball table, karaoke machine, 52' TV, X-box/games, as well as children/adult board games. On the main floor, we have a kitchen table that seats 6, bar stools, a dining table that seats 7, and a great room with a soaring ceiling! Our kitchen is fully stocked; it even has double ovens! We have an i-pod docking system and wifi. In our garage, there are 3 adult bikes, as well as one child's bike.
Eagle Crest Resort has bike rentals, a golf course, bike and walking trails, nearby fishing at the Deschutes, 3 pools, a water spray park for the kids, and a fitness center. Nearby attractions: Sisters, exploring Bend, hiking Smith Rock, Deschutes River, High Desert Museum, Tumalo State Park, antiquing in downtown Redmond, kayaking, rafting and horseback riding. And of course in the winter, there's skiing, sledding, snow shoeing etc all within an approximate 30-45 minute drive.

We loved our visit at Eagle Crest, especially our stay at Bitterbrush Lodge. The owner was responsive, and the property was modern and immaculate. The view from their home is wide open - spectacular sunrises and sunsets. We were especially fond of the trails available within the neighborhood and along the Deschutes. We also appreciated that it was close to Sisters. Our Garmin got us around the first day, but we didn't need it after that. When we got home, we commented that, if we could turn around and go back, we would.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Bitterbrush Lodge is more than beautiful...it's elegant, comfortable and the flow for entertaining and personal space is wonderful. We had a large group of people gathered for Thanksgiving along with day visitors. There were football watchers in the great room, teenagers in the game room, cribbage and 10,000 players on both dining tables and cooks in the kitchen. There are many games provided including U-No, Apples to Apples, Pictionary and several others. The views and wildlife are amazing...deer visiting us daily off the back decks...even a 4 point buck! The sunrises were incredibly colorful and the assortment of local birds kept the birdwatchers enthralled. The kitchen was fairly well equipped although I did have to have a few extra items brought for the holiday meal preparation. There is only one small sauce pot, 2 large pots and I believe 3 skillets. There is a crockpot, 2 electric griddles, a coffee grinder, and lots of large spatulas, spoons etc.. There is plenty of dinnerware and silverware except small teaspoons. My communication with the owners of Bitterbrush was always professional and friendly. They were responsive when there was an issue, due to no fault of theirs I might add. I would stay here again and am in fact already planning our next trip. All in all I would highly recommend Bitterbrush Lodge for a carefree and enjoyable time in the Bend/Redmond area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The home was beautiful and comfortable. We had a great time with 11 of our family members there. We never felt crowded. It is also close to one of the sports complexes, so getting to the pool was fast. We will rent again if we have a group this large coming.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great light and bright home! Lovely views, nice decorating, and beautiful front landscaping. Great place for a family with kids. Only negatives would be stained carpet in great room entry, missing blinds in master, and somewhat sparsely equipped kitchen. Next time I would take a pan or two and a few knives!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: We appreciate the constructive feedback and have scheduled to have carpets throughout our home to be professionally cleaned next week. The kitchen supplies are fully stocked with all of the basic necessities. There are no missing blinds in the master, but rather no window coverings based on owners design prefrence to highlight the incredible views and natural light. Glad you enjoyed your stay! We had a wonderful time with 9 adults and 5 kids (4years old and younger) for a family getaway. The house was beautiful and the close proximity to the water park/pool area was a plus! Also loved all the toys/bikes/scooters for little kids...our grandkids were so excited to have lots of things to play with. The house is very well furnished and beautifully decorated and we will definately try to come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We chose Bitterbrush Lodge because we needed a home that would sleep 12 people. We had a family reunion and they from all over the world for our mothers 91st birthday. The home was just as described. It was beautiful, clean, roomy enough for a BBQ for 24. Kitchen was well equipt, clean and very accomodating and many could be in it at the same time with no problem. Bedrooms were very nice and the quality of the beds, bedding and linens were superior. The 4 bathrooms were a neccessity with 12 and were very clean. The game room was enjoyed by all and the view was spectacular. A group did a great hike on Smith Rock which you can see from the deck. There were 3 small children under 3 yrs and 2 others, 5 and 8, and there was plenty of room for them to play in the living room while the adults were visiting. We were only there for three days but would have loved to be there longer. The home is beautiful, very comfortable and has a warm welcoming feeling . We were very pleased! The owners were very nice and eager to help in any way. We would highly recommend this property and if you have a large group it is perfect.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My brother lives in Redmond, so my other brother and his family from Washington and myself with my daughter's family stayed at this wonderful house. It was just as the pictures showed it to be. Neat and clean and it was so big that we each had a place for quiet time when needed. We had five children that could barely remember each other in the past. That soon changed. They spent a lot of time in the game room, playing the many games. We hardly knew that they were there. One of our guys enjoyed the gym every morning. We enjoyed going to the many interesting places in the area, Smith Rock, Petersen's Rock Gardens and the Crooked River Gorge. We also enjoyed the little town of Sisters, very fun! I know that there are many other places to see but we all enjoyed being at the house so much, it was hard to get everyone up and going. Nicole was wonderful to work with, even with her busy schedule, she communicated well and was a sweetheart. One thing that could be better is the map to the house was too small to read. We used our I-phones and found it that way. I would highly recommend this house and hope to go back to see more in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Property was as advertised, actually had more amenities than promised. Everything was in perfect condition with an excellent supply of linens, bedding , and kitchenware. We would recommend this property to anyone needing arrangements for a mix of adults and children. The layout is such that different activities can take place in different areas and separation by age groups is easy. Lots of eating areas any many places for small groups to congregate. All financial dealings were prompt and fair. Overall a very good experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
