  Stayed in the Dolphin House for a long weekend this past week. Had 25 of us staying in the house and never felt like it! Enjoyed a beautiful beach wedding ceremony in front of the house and the celebration on the front deck and in the main level kitchen/living area. This house was beyond my expectations! Incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. I wish it had been warmer so we could enjoy the pool and tiki bar area. The only things I wish were different were the pool to be heated and the house could use some area rugs to help with the noise absorption, you could definitely hear everything going on in the house at night time when it was quiet. Other than that, I really can't express how wonderful our time was there. I would recommend this house without any hesitation. The owner was incredibly helpful and prompt with answering any questions. My family is already planning a return to the Dolphin House : )

We have had area rugs in the past but with so much business and beach going guests, it was impossible to keep them clean and up to our high standards for our many guests. Please do come back!

• Perfect Wedding House

  We had our wedding here last weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place for it! Our priority for the weekend was to be able to spend lots of time with our guests and the house made that happen for us. We were able to have our immediate families and most of the wedding party stay there and the house was also a gathering spot for people staying at hotels. It didn't feel crowded, even with over twenty people staying there. The big kitchen and two dishwashers were great and we loved the huge kitchen table for everyone to gather around. We used it and two round tables for our rehearsal dinner with about 40 people and it worked out great without even any decorations. We put all of the food on the bar and showed our photo slideshow on the TV in the living room. The direct beach access was perfect. We had our wedding on the beach across the street and reception under the house. The pool area would have been ideal with the bar and space for our band and dance floor. Unfortunately, it was too cold and windy, but the area under the house was just fine with rented tent walls and heaters. It was so convenient to be able to rent tables and chairs right at the house and with new chairs, no need to worry about chair covers. Mike and Jodi were so helpful, particularly all of Jodi's suggestions for vendors since we're not from here. We got so many comments from our friends and family about how perfect the house was for something like this. Maybe we'll have to throw a big anniversary party in a few years so we'll have an excuse to bring everybody back!

  We have been staying in different beach homes every summer for several years now. The dolphin house is by far the best place we've ever stayed and we are excited to make this our permanant destination every year! The owners were great and to sum it up, they thought of everything when building this home...details like double appliances, the TV's in every room and even child safety features! There was plenty of room for everyone in our group. The bedrooms were more than spacious along with huge closets, the cubby rooms were perfect for the kids and most importantly there was a bed for everyone. The kitchen area was huge with a dining table that was large enough to sit 22 of us together at one time. The pool area was perfect with plenty of space around the pool for everyone to lay out in chairs or cool off in the pool and we loved the Tiki Hut equipped with outlets!. Even the porch was large enough for all of us to sit and relax together. Also there are no homes between the beach and the Dolphin house giving you a perfect view of the beach and so close to the water that you could go back and forth all day long if you want. We are looking forward to coming back next year and every year!

  The pictures do not do justice to this house! It is so much more beautiful in person. We immediately fell in love with it. The biggest problem we had is that we were in town for an event that kept us away from this house during the days. We wish we could have spent more of our trip actually in the house. We had dinners at the HUGE table, easily fitting all 17 of us around it. The view from the kitchen is fabulous, too. There are no other houses blocking your view of the gulf. There was so much room & everybody got to sleep in a bed...a real bed. In the past when we've rented houses in the area, some people have ended up on futons or bunk beds, but not here. The owner is very friendly, too. He even stopped by on our first morning there to make sure everything was OK.

  We travel every year on a large family vacation ahd have stayed in homes at different locations along the Gulf Coast region for the last 20 years. We have found our permenent venue from now on! The Dolphin House and owners were both fantastic! The home is almost beyond words with lots of features like 16 flat screen tv's- a seperate ice maker- huge kitchen and dining area with a great homemade table that actually sits 18 for dinner with ease! The inside was like walking into a paradise in every room that had beach colors and the house was super clean and modern in every detail. The outside is just as perfect with a great view of the Gulf just steps away and yes, the dolphins were there in the morning to welcome us! The pool area is perfect for a break from the beach for kids young and old with a Tiki Bar and palms all around the deck area. In closing, the owners were top of the list since they made everyone feel at home and delivered more than we expected with this property! The Dolphin House Rocks is how my children described their trip and we can"t agree more!

  We were thrilled when we arrived at The Dolphin House for our family reunion/wedding vow renewal! The owners were unbelievable to work with and made our stay so easy with a large number of people and many special requests which they made happen for our family. The inside of the home is better than the photo's shown and was clean as a whistle. We had a varied age group from infants to old "veterans" like myself and had plenty of room. The kids loved the upstairs rooms and the 2 huge family rooms were awesome. The men had so many tv"s that we women actually had our own shows to watch available on our tv's! The outside view was great with dolphins swimming by each morning as we sat on the porch with our coffee and the color of the water and sunrise/sunsets were to die for! Pool was a tropical setting with tiki bar and palms surrounding it and plenty of seating for everyone. I could go on and on but I hope we get to return next year if available and i would strongly recommend this home to anyone for vacations,weddings, or reunions since we did all 3 in one trip!

  I booked this home for my wedding, we had the wedding and reception in the spacious second layer of the home. The owners made everything perfect for my big day! There were televisions all around the room that featured a slide show of me and my husband! They even converted the ceremony back to a huge game room after the wedding was over and done with so that we could all have a place to hang out! It was Fabulous! We were able to fit all of our immediate families in the home! There were 17 of us and there was plenty of room for each and every one of us! It is so spacious and fun! The interior designs feature beautiful colors and themes in every room! So luxurious! Everything is BRAND NEW! Every room has a television which is something that our family really appreciates b/c not all homes have this! There is even an ICE MAKER so we didn't have to make ANY trips out for ice! The views were to die for! Dolphins REALLY swim by morning and night, and you can see them because there are no homes in front of the porch! We would highly recommend this house to anyone -- it was worth every single penny! All in all, I am SO happy to say that this is the home that we got married in! :) We really would like to thank everyone who made our wedding day (and honeymoon) amazing!

  This home is absolutely amazing! My family and three other families spent several days here in May. The home is brand new and I think we may have been the second one's to stay in it. There was plenty of room for us all....there was19 of us. We loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings and afternoons. You can easily see the dolphins swimming. The upstairs also has has a awesome view of the beach. The views are perfect because they are unobstructed. Lots and lots of TV's everywhere!!! The kids loved the little cubby rooms. The pool was nice and relaxing. We booked again for the same time next year......May is a perfect time for our family because its not too hot yet.
