KAILUA-ITS ALL ABOUT THE BEACH - MAKE SURE YOU CAN WALK BACK AND FORTH EASILY - ITS WELL WORTH IT! Kauhale Nanea Duplex is comfortable, casual, and neat as a pin - just one block, a 4 to 5 minute walk, to perhaps the best swimming beache in Hawaii. Each 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit features Queen sized beds, ceiling fans and complete kitchens. All bedrooms are air conditioned for those extra warm nights.
Each unit has its own washer and dryer, full size ranges and refrigerators, all linens, towels, beach towels and chairs, etc. If we've missed something, just ask for it! Two parking spaces per unit, 1 covered and 1 open. There is a large tropical fenced yard with outdoor furniture and BBQ grills. The combined property sleeps up to ten -- really great for a group traveling together but who want their own space. Kalapawai has 2 very comfortable sofa-beds in the living room and can sleep up to 8.
Great location one block from Kailua Beach. A fifteen minute stroll along the beach gets you to Kailua Beach Park where you can take windsurfing or kiteboarding lessons and rent kayaks. Take a guided kayak tour of Flat Island and the Mokolua Islands. For coffee lovers, next to the park Kalapawai Market serves a large variety of great coffees. From Kauhale Nanea it is just a short walk to great restaurants and fascinating shops.
