We rented the Cabin for a weekend to get away from the city and enjoy the nature around Lake Tahoe. The hot tub, the bbq, the beach (though not a sand beach) in walking distance made our stay very enjoyable. There is a cute breakfast place down the road and also kayak and bike rental shops. We did all of that and had a great time. There are biking paths along the lake and the river. The house is nice and well maintained. As you can see in the pictures there is a lot of wood inside which makes it cozy (especially in the winter when you can heat up the gas fire place) but also a little dark. It was very easy to rent the place and all relevant information where provided upfront.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.
