  We had a great time during our stay at Lake Arrowhead. The Leyden's home is beautiful and exactly as depicted in the pictures and description. We were happy that Rob was able to meet us at the home and go over the "technology" of the house with us. The Welcome sign on the door and basket of goodies added such a wonderfully personal touch. Since the weather was not cooperating with us, (National News that it was SNOWING in Atlanta!!!) we took full advantage of the theater room and hot tub! We had reserved the pontoon prior to our stay, so that was disappointing that we couldn't fully enjoy the very well maintained pontoon. We bundled up and took a spin around the lake and fished for a bit, but it was COLD!!! We all took turns on the hydrobike and a few of us ventured out in the kayak. The home was laid out well to accommodate 2 teenage boys (in the Disney room), a teenage girl (loved the privacy of the loft) and 3 couples each with their own bedroom/bath. We were pleased with the correspondence before the trip and were happy with the prompt return of the security deposit. It was a pleasure to rent again through VRBO and the Leyden's were very helpful in making our Spring Break enjoyable! Looking forward to spending some warmer days on Lake Arrowhead!

We do have the home stocked with games, books, magazines and we even added an arcade game. I wish I could write a review about guests. I would give your party a 10 out of 10!!   This house was absolutely beautiful. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The location is also great. It was under an hour's time to get to the Atlanta airport, and only a 15 minute drive into town to get groceries if needed. The lake was very peaceful as well. The theatre room was our favorite part! The chairs were so comfy, you felt like you were at the movies. The owners decorated this house so tastefully! Everything about reserving this house, to staying there, to leaving was flawless. The owners even left us a gift basket with popcorn to enjoy our movies! :) Would highly recommend staying at this house, and the owners! I cannot wait to plan another getaway!

  I went with 2 co-workers for a work function. The windows and great furniture made getting work done enjoyable! The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of staring at a computer screen. The internet (which was absolutely necessary) worked flawlessly. I loved the mural in the kitchen so much I've convinced my husband we should do something similar in our house:) I wish my local theater had seats as comfortable as the theater room here! On top of the beauty and comfort, the owners mailed me my clothes that I had left in the dresser. It's so great to stay somewhere so beautiful and serene and have excellent customer service to boot. Thank you so much!

  We travel exclusively using private rental homes and Rob and Jenn's home is in our top 2! The pictures do not do the home justice nor does it describe how nice and accommodating the owners were to us throughout the process. This home provides everything to make you feel like you belong here and never want to leave. Although we planned day trips to Tennessee for horseback riding, Lookout Mountain, etc., the kids and adults alike could not wait to get back to the house for our evening ritual of popcorn and movies in the theatre room! I would encourage anyone to spend their time here and can't wait for us to figure out when we can return. Thank you so much, Rob and Jenn for being so kind and sharing your wonderful home with us!

  Owners Rob and Jen made themselves available to answer any questions or concerns we had and were the best in hospitality and did their utmost to make us feel welcome and at home! The home is just lovely and plenty of room to spread out! We had three generations between us and had all the space we needed. Don't bother bringing any games as there is a wonderful variety of board games and the media room is a dream! We had fun taking canoe and kayak rides and the deer enjoyed our carrots and corn in the back yard at night! We did venture into Atlanta for some of the fun things there but really enjoyed the small town of Canton which boasts plenty of familiar restaurants and stores not to mention the hometown local spots. We stopped at the Publix grocery store right at the entrance to the resort to stock up on groceries-very nice! The kids really enjoyed the Grandview Park on the property which has a very nice playground and a wide open field for lawn games and races! Since our group is from South Florida, we like to come in the Fall so one of our favorite places was right in front of the fireplace! We gathered there to play the Wii, board games, chat etc. and it was handy to the kitchen! Would like to come in the summer and experience more of the lake activity-would be nice not to have to worry about gators for a change! Thanks Rob and Jen for giving our family a wonderful, memorable family experience!

  We loved our trip, we did not expect what we got which was more that we had anticipated....good thing. We had all basic necessities covered and some.....good thing. Audio room, boats, dock, entertainment value solid. We will most likely pencil this trip in every year that weekend. Great trip

  What a wonderful week at Lake Arrowhead, in an awesome cabin! We filled our vacation with a lot of r & r, mixed with adventure hiking with the kids, and good times spent on the lake. Had a blast in the theatre and soaked it up in the hot tub too!

  This place is GORGOUS! Our family had a wonderful time. The owners definately maintain this place well. This is our second time to the area, but the first at this property. We have already booked for next year because it far exceeded our previous experience. We spent the days floating around on the lake and fishing from the boat and the dock. The kids so enjoyed the swimming, boating, the 3 white ducks that visited every day! Too cute! I took a walk most mornings - be prepared for a challenge. There are a lot of hills to challenge yourself. Lots of wildlife to watch along the way. The evenings were great watching movies in the theater room. We had planned to go into the city, but we were enjoying the quite time with our family too much to bother. I was a little worried traveling with another family, but there is so much elbow room on this property, it gave everyone enough "me" space when we wanted it. Can't wait to come back.

  This is an awesome Atlanta getaway location. It was just under one hour from my home in Atlanta but feels worlds away. The atmosphere is fun on the lake but relaxed. There are no jet skiis whizzing by the house all day, they are not allowed on this lake. We utilized the pontoon boat and had a great time all weekend out on the water. The new Highlands golf course was excellent and makes me want to return just for the golf. The pictures of the house evident the fact that this is a top notch property in mint condition. I highly recommend this vacation location and specifically this house, I will be back for another stay undoubtedly.

We enjoy Lake Arrowhead more than the other lakes outside Atlanta because it does not allow jet skis and it is never crowded. The lake is in a private community which has no public boat launches.   YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT A GREAT PLACE THIS IS BY VIEWING THE PICTURES AN READING THE REVIEWS WHICH I MIGHT ADD, IT IS INDEED AS ADVERTISED. HIDING AMONG THIS SETTING IS A 76 YR OLD GRANDPA vs A 4 YEAR OLD AND A 2-1/2 YEAR OLD. WE WATCHED MOVIES IN THE THEATER ROOM ON A 10 FOOT SCREEN. SAW MY GRANDSON CATCH HIS FIRST FISH OFF THE DOCK. WATCHED MY GRANDDAUGHTER AS SHE OVERCAME HER FEAR OF THE WATER. WE FED THE FISH AND DUCKIES, PLAYED LAWN GAMES WENT SWIMMING. WE TOOK A SLOW RIDES ON THE INNER TUBE BEHIND THE BOAT. WE PLAYED BOARD GAMES AND VIDEO GAMES. TUCK THEM IN AND . . . . . WELL SO MUCH FOR THE FIRST DAY. IT'S TIME FOR GRANDPA --- TO ROCK N' ROLL --- MY THANKS GOES OUT TO JEN & ROB, FOR A LITTLE PIECE OF THEIR HEAVEN

  Owner response: We enjoyed having your family. You can catch a lot of panfish off the dock. For the bass make sure you go out on the boat to find the big ones. We just added a 10' paddle board for your visit next year! A new toy for the kids and adults!
