  We stayed for one week in April and were extremely happy with our stay. The unit was beautiful, spacious, clean, and the ocean view was second to none. We saw whales breaching in the distance daily from the balcony. The adjacent pool was handy and used daily. It was great to be able to take walks along the path by the ocean in front of the unit.The only sounds we woke up to in the morning were birds so it is highly recommended for those wanting a quiet, romantic, peaceful getaway. It might be too quiet for young adults wanting to be somewhere more busy and active. A question about internet connection upon arrival was answered and solved promptly. We appreciated the modern kitchen when making breakfast and lunches. The bed was soft and super comfy. Kapalua and Napili Bay were not that far to walk to and excellent for swimming and snorkelling. Sansei Restaurant nearby is great for fresh sushi. Gazebo Restaurant was excellent for breakfast/lunch and dinner timed at sunset at the Sea House Restaurant was great for the ocean view. One of the best holidays we ever had. Loved this villa and location.

  Excellent location and view. Property was clean with good amenities. Only issue was with the phone/internet which was not working properly, and unfortunately we were in desperate need of the free long distance within North America; we had to coordinate repair with telecom provider, manager provided new phone once requested. Once the telecom services were repaired it was smooth sailing. Definitely a property we'd return to. There was an abundance of whales this year - providing a daily display - we could just sit on the lanai and enjoy ! Sansei and Pineapple Grill are both excellent for dining in the Kapalua area !

  The property was great. My wife and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary and wanted to find a great place to enjoy our celebration and we did. The pictures were accurate and the experience was memorable at this property. My wife enjoyed coffee and the waves off the lanai each morning and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. The beach near the condo was the softest sand I have ever seen anywhere. It was a place you definitely didn't want to leave. The appliances were very nice and great for breakfast and lunch at the condo. Restaurants were phenomenal around the condo area: Merrimans and Sensai were hands down 2 of the best restaurants I have been too in the last couple years. I would recommend this condo to anyone inquiring. I stay at around 30 different hotels each year and am a bit of snob when it comes to recommending places. Thanks again for the great property and helping make our anniversary a great memory.

  Just a wonderful time, clean, well maintained, great views, great weather, great stay.The only thing the unit lacked was a can opener.

  Aloha! The Condo is just beautiful. It is very large, and decorated with beautiful furniture and accessories. It is even more luxurious than the photos. It has everything you could ever want. There are books, beach supplies, bathroom amenities and a beautiful kitchen. Our stay was wonderful. We walked in the morning all over the beautiful beach front and enjoyed swimming in the best beaches on Maui. Lars and Marti and the owners are super. They are a phone call away for directions, restaurants etc. Be sure and get 'Pineapple Upside Down Cake' at the Pineapple Grill. Restaurants are within walking distance and there is a free shuttle that will take you around. Zip lining is a lot of fun and close by. Breakfast on the balcony is breathtaking. The stunning view is a delight. I miss it very much. I recommend this property to everyone.

  Pristine unit! My family of four stayed here and we’re amazed. The view was phenomenal and the amenities within the unit were top notch. The unit has a perfect location in the Kapalua Bay Villas; is western facing which means you get to see the amazing colors in the sky from the sunset and most importantly for a Bay Villa, it is protected from the north wind! All this and still have a front row view of the ocean. It is everything you could possibly want from a Kapalua Bay Villa. Will not disappoint, in fact you will want to move in permanently. Perfect for all ages and needs.

  We ejoyed every moment of our stay at this beautiful place. This is very luxurious and classy accommodation that will satisfy even the most demanding trallers. It feels like a home away from home with all the conveniences you have at home plus the stunning views from the balcony, watching the whales in the ocean while eating a meal on the balcony was a real treat....(In any one day we saw more whales from the window than we saw during our whale-watching day trip!). Marti and Lars are fine hosts and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your holiday. Thanks to you Marti and Lars our holiday exceeded our expectations and it is our hope that we will return to your beautiful condo and spend more time there during our next trip to beautiful Maui.

  Perfect retreat! Incredible Ocean Views! Whale watching from out the balcony was so enjoyable. A huge bathroom, great deck for dining while the surf crashes as your feet almost... Pool area very well appointed and great for a BBQ and relax! Enjoyed cooking in a geat kitchen w/ ocean view .Owner's want you to feel at home and VRBO was proffesional and easy to communicate with. Marti was always available! Really I was out on the ocean everyday and when I came home to my Bay Villa with the panaramic view I was in awe all over again.! Thanks we loved our Bay Villa and will come again with the whole family and rent two in the same building 23.

  My husband and I, along with our 4-month old son, spent 10 perfect days here this past Jan/Feb '12. We thought the place was nicer in person than in the photos. The condo is very spacious (again, bigger than expected) and had everything we needed, along with extras such as a rice cooker and a blender. The view is magnificent - we felt so lucky to see the humpbacks every day, as well as a few dolphins! If I had to complain, I would say the mattress was too soft and the shower water pressure could have been better. Also, there was a funky mold smell in the washing machine, but it was still a bonus to have a washer/dryer. Kapalua Bay is incredible - I can't see how anyone would stay anywhere else on Maui. We hope to return as soon as possible. We would choose this property again.

  Last september, we had the chance to stay in this stunning one bedroom condo with our 4 month old son. We were absolutely pleased with all that it had to offer! We stayed for 10 nights and it was the perfect vacation with our new baby. What a beautiful condo with an unsurpassed view of the ocean and the beauty of Maui right outside the window of the living room and the bedroom! This is an ideal spot for a quiet, peaceful, family get away. I cannot recommend this villa any higher and we will certainly be back!
