The Vinings Historic Preservation Society was established in 1993 by the Ruth Carter Vanneman Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, charitable corporation, for the purpose of preserving the historic spirit and structures of Vinings. Historic buildings like the Pace House, the Old Pavilion and Vinings Center serve as a focal point for Vinings’ colorful history and tell vivid stories of the city’s past.
Our primary mission is to preserve, protect and maintain the historic places and spirit of our jewel of a town. You'll see that much of that comes through education, engaging the community and maintaining relationships.

What a heart-stopping showplace! The amenities provided by this home are over the top and give the traveler an experience rarely provided by other residences. As a Travel agent, I am always looking for properties that provide my clients an exceptional vacation. This is the one to beat! Conscientious management, an accommodating owner and exemplary care are evident everywhere in this home. Luxury, peace and a quiet private setting are the key ingredients to a remarkable property. Leaving at the end of the stay is almost a culture shock when returning to the real world. A truly amazing and over the top residence. I will definitely bring my guests back to this property without hesitation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: After purchasing this home in 2000, the next 2 years were spent customizing it to become a soothing retreat for myself and my pets. We spend much of our time in the Mountains of North Carolina where I walk my 3 puppies and play golf.
