You will be greeted by Owner Direct Vacation Rentals, who will check you in and out, provide a welcome packet with your keys, pools passes, parking passes and everything you'll need during your stay. You will also receive a discount dining and golf card which will let you sample some of the best restaurants in the greater Myrtle Beach area, and save you money on some major golf courses.
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath condo on the ground level, in the prestigious Edgewater community in Barefoot Resort. This is a gated resort with a coded lobby entrance, and all interior doors to your unit. The owner has a phone in the unit offering local & LD calling. There is also free WI-FI.
The Intracoastal Waterway is a beautiful back-drop for the large pool & hot tub. An added bonus to this community is a private clubhouse for your enjoyment. It has a full kitchen, lounge area with TV, fireplace, and a fitness center. There are 3 gas grills, abundant seating under cover at the pavilion, or plenty of lounge seating around the pool.
There is free shuttle service from Edgewater to the Barefoot beach cabana each day, that runs almost hourly. Guests may use the lower level rest room facilities. Or you may drive the short mile to the ocean front, and park in the public parking areas ( no parking meters here in North Myrtle!)
This condo features a rear screened in patio ( with an outside keyed lock), and a washer and dryer in the unit.

We (myself, husband, son, parents and nephew (6 people total)) rented this beautiful condo for 4 nights. The unit was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated! The end unit provided nice shaded privacy. There was a short (2-3 minute) walk to the clubhouse and pool as well as the stop for the beach shuttle. The property and building was securely gated and required a code/key card to enter. This provided a great sense of security and privacy. The pool was GORGEOUS with a wonderful view of the Intercoastal Waterway. The location of the Barefoot Resort is second to none! My family has been vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area since the early 1970s and we would easily rank this condo in our top 3! Thank you Lucy (and Doug) for opening your lovely home to us!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous place!!!! We rented this condo for an entire week for our family's very 1st trip to Myrtle Beach and could not of been more pleased with our choose. The pictures do NOT do this place justice. It is so much more spacious than the pictures show. It was very clean and welcoming. We have rented from vrbo for the past 7 yrs for our yearly vacations and this is by far the nicest one we have ever stayed at. We even had the pleasure of meeting Lucy and Doug shortly after our arrival. Such lovely people :) Looking forward to the following years!!! My family loved loved loved this condo. We have stayed in many different places during our travels but this was by far the best. The condo was spotless and beautifully decorated. The owners were more than accommodating. It's not often that we get to slow down and relax but it came easy to us here. We will definitely be back as soon as possible. Thank you Lucy! This villa is stunning! The pictures don't do it justice. The pictures are beautiful, but when you walk into it for yourself you are immediately enveloped into a different and wonderful world. The villa is gorgeous and modern and everything you could wish for. The furnishings and everything in it are top of the line. This is what a luxury vacation is meant to be! The master suite is amazing. It has a huge king bed and top of the line linens. I'm a linen snob, so trust me when I say all linens were heavenly. Your attention will be drawn to the beautiful architectural ceiling in the master bedroom, and in the center is a remote controlled ceiling fan/light. Very nice! The mater bath is equally incredible, and it's enormous. It has a huge shower and a large jacuzzi tub. Everything throughout the villa was immaculate. There was beautiful thick crown moulding throughout. If you are like me and you want a place that is spotless, you have found it here. This villa was so clean. I love the feeling of that. Lucy is an amazing person and goes out of her way to make your stay wonderful. She had left a hand written note, recommended great places to eat and things to do. The location of this villa could not be better. It was very private, but yet so close to everything. It took only a few minutes to get to the beach. It was a straight shot and couldn't be easier. The cabana at the beach is very nice as well. We also enjoyed sitting on the screened back porch at the villa when we were worn out. Did I mention the kitchen? It is incredible. Fully stocked with everything you could ever need. The den area is great. I loved the buttery leather sofa and designer chairs. The other two bedrooms and bath were beautiful and so comfortable as well. I loved all the colors, and even the towels are done in beautiful tropical colors. The washer and dryer are so convienant. I would have to say honestly, in my opinion, this villa is perfection. I was lucky enough to get to meet Lucy and Doug after our stay. I just love them. They are the sweetest people. They are so kind and they really want you to enjoy your trip. Within a short time I was calling Lucy Mama Lucy. My kids loved them too. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the awesome pool and hot tub. There are grills at the pool area. We loved the pool. It is huge. It was never crowded. We soaked away our troubles in the hot tub, and then slept like babies in the lap of luxury. Thank you Doug and Mama Lucy for the best trip ever!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable condo! The owners were very nice to work with. The pool is great, very convenient to walk to. Shuttle to the beach could not have been easier. Was great for a family with two children, but could easily accommodate more. Spacious and nicely decorated. The kids loved the whirlpool tub! Wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great unit for the family or traveling couples. First floor unit is very convient to parking gargage, ie. no need for elevators. It is centrally located to so many activities. Doug and Lucy are great to deal with. Only thing missing is breakfast, but I would bet she would be willing to do that also! She is a great southern hostess! Had a great time Doug and Lucy.
