Bear Necessities is a charming Arts n Crafts Style home loaded with amenities and a breath taking view of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Inside you will find balted maple floors, hardwood trim, a great kitchen, fireplace and the view fills every room, including the master bath Jacuzzi Tub. Imagine taking a bath looking out over 30 miles of mountains.
On the deck we have a hot tub by Hot Spring and seating for family and friends. On the green we have a firepit and a place to enjoy grilling in the outdoors.

- for the kids we have a "kids loft" with a full bed tucked away from the second bedroom.

We arrived in the dark (not recommended!) and were so pleased at the quality of the lodging! My wife is very much a 5 star girl and she was not disappointed. In the morning we were blown away by the view! Wifi was great for the kids to access and we had no trouble with getting service for our mobile phone. Had a small problem with the Hot Tub, and Bob (the owner) was on the spot to get it fixed. We plan on returning in the Summer.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We love this place! The cabin was perfect. Loved the hot tub, fire place, view, pillow top bed and the entertainment system. Had a small problem with the T-stat, but Bob (the owner) was here in no time to get it fixed. While he was here he made a fire, started the hot tub and gave us the scoop on the local mouuntain bike trails. Look forward to next year.

Bob & Tonya, We had an amazing time staying in your beautiful home. The pictures on your website does not do this beautiful place justice. We have enjoyed the great views of the mountains, especially in the early mornings. This was a great location for our honeymoon.
