Nice Place For a Family and Dog!

We stayed two nights and were very satisfied. The place is clean and nicely appointed. The kids and dog loved hiking on the trail just up the hill, and the fenced yard was very private and secure. Nice hot tub, too. We'd definitely stay again-a great place to take in Glenwood-just blocks from downtown and the hot springs pool make it convenient, the privacy makes it very relaxing.

Great place to stay! Very nice kitchen, and fire pit in the back yard which we used one night to roast marshmellows. Enjoyed the hot tub too. Great location - close to the hot springs. Nice trail behind property for the dogs. Jason was very nice and helpful. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience with this VRBO, as it was our first experience using this service. We arrived at the house to find it tastefully decorated with many upscale inclusions that created such a relaxing and comfortable environment. The amenities were over-the-top, when you consider that there was everything from (not only beautiful furnishings, but also spices to shampoo to towels & bedding, etc. Thanks so much for a wonderful time and allowing us to share your property for a time. We'll be back!

What a nice place . My family and friends spent a week in this comfortable home. Walking distance to Hot Springs ,but at the same time you are located in the quiet residential street ,just at the foot hills and steps away from the hicking trail. Inside , comfortable beds, nice bathroom and the best equiped kitchen ,you can dream about. Jason and Sarah, thank you ,for making our stay so pleasant. Julita Horyd

Our overall experience was very pleasant, just way too short. We should have planned a longer trip for sure because we and our friends both have a 3 year old and because there is so much fun stuff to do there!! We booked a 2 night stay with the first day check in being 4pm and the last day check out being 11am. So our first night was just getting everything settled for the kids and our last morning our time was spent packing and organizing. So we basically had one full day to do stuff and it was not enough especially because both our kids take 3 hour naps mid day. The kids however loved the Hot Springs! The owner even went as far a buying us slide tickets because the hot tub was turned of by the people who stayed there last and it wasnt hot enough to get in the first night, which was a bummer. Very clean and the owner Jason was very helpful! But overall it was a great stay!

Very accurate description for location, appearance and amenities. This home had everything we needed and more. Well appointed and modern kitchen, beautiful bath. Very clean. Great linnens and super comfy beds. Great location steps from a trail head and a short walk to downtown or the pool. I would definately recommend this property. Our boys keep asking when we can go back to Jason's house. We hope to visit again soon. Thanks!

Just one suggestion If you guys streamed some christmas lights above the hot tub it would be so inviting at night. but its great without them too! Always a good time up here! Our week at King of the Hill couldn't have been any better. The house was immaculate and the views were spectacular. We loved how close we were to all the amenities of town. Our grown children were riding bikes and hiking on the nearby trails. We loved sitting on the front deck playing cards or sitting around the fire pit in the back yard. The owners were extremely helpful and attentive. We would recommend this location to any couple or family who just want to spend time together in a comfortable, well-kept home.

We want to make this our getaway every summer vacation! Jason was so delightful and from the beginning he answered all of our questions and was so accommodating and friendly. The house was a perfect little getaway after enjoying all that Glenwood Springs has to offer. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill. Having the backyard and the front deck made it so much more comfortable with kids than a hotel! Everything was lovely and Jason couldn't have been nicer. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Very nice home with everything we needed. Beautiful kitchen! lots of things to do in the area for all ages. The house was well supplied. I would definitely recommend as a great place to stay. The owner was kind and accommodating. The house was dirty and smelled of marijuana. The yard was very cluttered. Lots of trash around yard. The smell was overwhelming and the place was dirty and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving early. We had booked the house for 3 days, but left after one night. The owner does live on the premises in the basement.

Recommended for: Pet owners

Owner response: not quite right. Up untill now we have had not one negative complaint. The person who contacted me was not the same person who showed up. They called for a "last minute" stay and agreed to pay for 3 days upon showing up. The person who showed up came with only 1/2 of the agreed amount. He was very impatient through the walk through of the house. I told him we could make an arrangement as i was leaving to visit family in new mexico. I still dont know who actually stayed and how many as they left before explaining or complaining at all. My phone # is always posted on the letter and the fridge if you have any concerns. These people never called. As far as the place bieng dirty, I helped the cleaning person myself and we left it spotless as it always is. It takes 2 people at least 4 hours to clean, so i know fist hand how the place was left. As far as the trash in yard, what you see on the website is what you get. It would be hard to rent a place that was filled with trash. It is also explained in the ad that there is a managers apartment in the basement, but is not a full time residence and we are rarely there. There is no connection between the units and sre seperate and private entrances and hot water and heat. I have never had a complaint yet of any smells or otherwise. As far as if you smell of something , they might want to check into someone from thier own party, as i did find a lighter out by the firepit. The next three and 40 before this one has all been positive.

The Haynes girls(with several last names) greatly enjoyed our three nights here. Sitting at the table on the front porch, around the firepit in the back, in the hot tub (several times) and in the front room eating meals. All of this was just splendid. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We (two couples) had a great stay here. The house is above average in being well stocked with all the nice to haves (great kitchen appliances, movies, games, fire pit, hot tub, etc). Everything was in very good condition. It's a short (downhill) walk to town. We'd stay there again.

Great home to rent, very cozy and well stocked with all you need for home away from home. We could walk to town and the springs pool when we were not lazing around on the porch swing or in the hot tub. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

We stayed for two nights at the "King of the Hill" and that is just what it is! Great views from the top of the hill and a wonderful deck and hot tub to enjoy them! We slept four kids under the age of 6 with no problem at all. My boys loved the bunkbeds in the Hawaii room! We also loved having the kitchen to cook meals and we went back home with virtually no laundry due to having our own washer and dryer. We also loved all the added little "extras" that made our stay even more enjoyable.

Thanks so much for renting us your house for my birthday and our 15th wedding anniversary. It was so nice to be able to walk downtown every day. The hot springs, the dining, the scout trail for hiking was great. Shopping, relaxing, laying around, watching movies from the video library, the massage, everything was wonderful. Glenwood Springs is a wonderful town. It will be hard to go back to kansas. Thank you again for everything it was great!! (left in guest book at the house)

"this place felt like home" -Mary ann "Cute little home-easy to work in, appreciated the well stocked kitchen"- Jane "Enjoyed the central location and the nice decor"- Jen "The toilet paper was great! very absorbant-better than the stuff we buy at home" -Matt Thanks for bieng so accommodating-we enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing vacation with quality family time in a great atmosphere! Hey you two, probably the best housing weve ever had for a caving convention. We felyt right at home with the the Hawaii Decor, and the Kona coffee was especially great for us coffee hounds! The bed was so comfy i could hardly stand to get out of it! Mike and Emily thanked us many times for finding your house. We all feel so happy i did! Come and visit us on the big Island!
