Just a couple miles away you can find the Orlando museum of Art, the Shakespeare Theater of Orlando as well as the Orlando Repertory Theater. Music and art abound throughout the area and change daily with schedules that are easy to acquire by skimming the local community papers, TV channels, and websites.
RECREATION:
Winter Park contains many public parks for strolling. There are also boat launches and even boat tours for those who wish to partake. Bike trails and paths are numerous and every day many joggers take advantage of Winter Park's tree-lined streets. Beaches are a short drive as well as one of central Florida's state parks (Wekiva Springs- one can rent canoes and kayaks as well as swim in a natural spring in this state treasure). Of course, there are always the theme parks (Disney, Universal, Sea World / water parks (Aquatica/Wet N Wild) right down the road to enjoy as well.

I spent a month in this great house with my family. My children enjoyed every minute. I loved the location, we felt very safe. Winter Park is beautiful. Great rooms, good kitchen, the pool was perfect for my kids. The owners are very friendly and were very helpfull. I would definetely visit again. It has free wifi, a closed garage for your rented car, near supermarkets, target, walmart, pharmacies and it's like 45 minutes away from the attraction parks. LOVED IT!!! LOVED IT!!! What I liked the most was that the house was perfect and safe for my young children.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family stayed at this wonderful home to celebrate our daughter's wedding during January 2012. She got married in Winter Park and this home was just minutes from the venue. We were thrilled to find the home so spacious and it was immaculate and they even had a basket of goodies to welcome us! The house was so comfortable to entertain some of our out of town travellers and made our whole stay just perfect! So much room, so clean, great location and close to everything! The owner was great to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this wonderful home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing time in this immaculately clean, new, family home. Everything was as pictured, except for my favorite room, the tremendous master bathroom. It has an open shower, large tub and is the size of most master suites! We enjoyed cooking family dinners in the spacious kitchen and relaxing in the pool and on the comfortable patio furniture. We enjoyed having the familyroom/kitchen door and master bedroom door open to the screened in patio. Af firest, we were wary of the location on a very busy highway, but the house is set back enough and situated so that it was quiet. The neighborhood is good for walking/jogging and convenient to shopping and the highways. It's about 15 minutes to downtown Winter Park. It was nice to be able to stretch out and have space, good beds and linens. We would recommend it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family stayed here in July and everything was exactly as it was described. It was immaculate and well organized, and very tastefully decorated. We were greated with a welcome basket upon arrival and we were extremely pleased with the home. Our kids loved all the games and toys in the cabinets and all of the room to run and play. We enjoyed having the pool at our fingertips as well as access to groceries and shopping in under 5 mins from the house. We went to the beach and it was an easy drive under an hour! The owners were very kind and accommodating and we would certainly stay at this home again!
