We love our home away from home in the mountains and wanted to share it with others, like you. The home is sited above 4000 feet elevation and on the western side of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Longtime residents will tell you this translates to cool less humid summers. Relax on one of the two large decks and enjoy the sounds of wild birds and wind through the maples. Frequent visitors include deer, wild turkeys, and other mountain wildlife. Close to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Linville Falls, go exploring wildlife parks like Grandfather Mountain or countless hiking trails, horseback riding, ski tubing, shopping, great golf, alpine skiing...whatever you might care to do!
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and a full well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, Flat panel cable TV and DVD in the living room and TV's in the bedrooms along with WiFI for your comfort and convenience. Full size washer and dryer on premises as well.

My family really enjoyed staying at the cabin. We built a fire in the fireplace each night and we also went out onto the big deck and enjoyed the FANTASTIC views. We will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed your visit. Come again soon!

Lovely, clean and comfortable home in a very nice community. We stayed during the first week of August and the temp at the home never exceeded 74 degrees. Plenty to do nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly rent this home again. The drive up to the home is steep but not scary or unsafe. Very good roads.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
