  We enjoyed our stay. It was in a perfect location. We were able to cook meals, hang out, and sleep in. The park that was in walking distance was beautiful, and well kept. Oh, and the paintings around the house were wonderful. We will recommend to friends and family.

  I loved this adorable little cottage! It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The furniture was very comfortable, including the bed, and we had everything we needed for a wonderful little get-away. If you are a "bath" person, there is a wonderful deep jacuzzi tub in the bathroom that you will love. However, if you are a "shower" person like me, there is not a traditional shower in the bathroom. It's more of a pull out sprayer, like what you would have on your kitchen sink. That made showering a kind of interesting experience.

  A great home to spend family time and get deployment prep. Close to parks and a game of pictionary is a great way to relax. The jacuzzi tub is perfect and the teepee is great for the young 'uns. Everyone is so kind and the original artwork makes me want to come back again and again.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  The house was great !!! Jessica is wonderful... Our son was deploying, and the house was at a great location. Close to New River. I was surprised at how spacious the house was and the perfect backyard, great for our family dog, that has to see his brother off, plus it had everything needed to make you feel like home, all we had to buy was groceries of course. Jessica (the owner) went above and beyond to make our stay even better, she's such a great person and is easy to work with.. We will be back when our on our son's return... Thanks Jessica... Sorry for the delay in review.

  This was my best trip to Jacksonville so far, my only regret is not finding this place before! The location is great! My fiancée is stationed in MCAS New River and it took him about 15mins to get to base, and is less than 10mins away from Lejeune! Everything is so close to the house and the park that's about 3 houses down, right on the bay is just great for families or just to have a nice walk after dinner. I was surprised at how spacious the house was and the perfect backyard,, plus it had everything needed to make you feel like home, all we had to buy was groceries of course. In addition to all that, Jessica (the owner) went above and beyond to make our stay even better, she's such a great person to make business with. Thank you so much! I just hope this place is available every time I travel!

  We had the perfect stay; we were visiting my daugher and son-in-law who is a Marine. The cottage is more adorable that it looks on the website, perfectly clean and impeccably maintained. One of the bonuses of the property that we were not aware of was a cute little park four houses down the street that had the perfect playground for our one year old granddaugher. Jessica, the owner, could not have been more accomadating. I would highly recommend this rental.

  I cannot tell you how absolutely wonderful it was to do business with Jessica and stay at her cottage. We originally contacted Jessica from Okinawa, Japan over e-mail. I was pleasently surprised to receive a quick response. I might add, I contacted several other VRBO's and still have not received a return e-mail! I reserved the cottage and paid the security deposit via Pay Pal. Easy!! The cottage has been updated nicely, super clean, and wonderfully decorated. All ammenities you could think of are there from Wi-Fi to a hair dryer in case you forgot yours like me! This cottage is perfect for military families PCSing in to Camp Lejeune/New River instead of staying at the "Q" or some other hotel. The cottage is also perfect for those extended military family members visiting their heros at Camp Lejeune or New River. Look no further, this is the perfect place! Thank you Jessica for a wonderful stay!

  Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We were in Jacksinville to welcome home our son from Afghanistan. Jessica was very accomodating to our needs and such a sweet and thoughtful hostess. The bedroom furniture is very comfortable and the bath was like a spa! Daytime temps ranged from 70's to low 100's, and the AC was perfect! We really enjoyed the backyard space and watching and listening to the birds and other little creatures. Morning walks were enjoyable, as the river park is just a few steps away. We will definitely be staying at this charming cottage again! Thanks Jessica!

  The cottage is very comfortable. We enjoyed being there for the week. Jessica and her hubby are both very nice folks. It is in a quiet neighborhood.
