Cozy Chalet style log cabin in great recreational paradise location. One acre lot surrounded by pine and fir trees for privacy. Located in the heart of the Lake Wenatchee National Forest area. Wirless interenet access included at no extra charge.
Convenient location for those attending weddings at Pine River Ranch, Kahler Glenn, and Mountain Springs.
The combined living, dining, and kitchen area feature a two story open beam pine ceiling. In winter enjoy watching real fires in the Lopi woodstove with glass doors.
The backyard is very private in case you want to shed your swimsuit in the hot tub which is open to the night sky. You are sure to see shooting stars on a clear night and meteor showers in August.
The kitchen with granite counter tops is fully equipped and even has a coffee grinder. Satellite TV and DVD player provide enertainment after a day of recreation.
A beautiful loft area has two twin beds perfect for kids while the adults enjoy the Master bedroom with queen bed and guest room with double bed below. A sofa bed pulls out in front of the woodstove for a cozy setup in front of the woodstove fire in winter.
In winter you can legally snowmobile from the cabin property directly to the many miles of groomed trails in the Lake Wenatchee forrest. Groomed cross country skiing can be found nearby. Additional winter activities include ice fishing and sledding. Downhill skiing and snowboarding can be found at Stevens Pass about 40 minutes away.
Fish lake is a few miles away and is known for rainbow & brown trout as well as perch. You can fish from shore, bring your boat or rent one at The Cove resort. There are numerous hiking opportunities in the area from easy day hjike to over night backpacking.
Lake Wenatchee is 10 miniutes away and rivals Lake Tahoe for it's beauty. In summer enjoy the sandy white beach along with swimming. Winter brings snowshoeing and cross country skiing within the park. Horses can be rented in summer.
The Swiss Bavarian town of Leavenworth is a 19 mile drive or take the bus for a dollar. The drive through Tumwater canyon is beautiful.
***Important Note*** Our cabin is located in a quiet recreational community. Please respect our neigbors by being reasonably quiet. No loud parties will be tolerated as we have an active community watch program. Capacity of 6 persons will be enforced.
In winter, we there is a 25mph speed limit for snowmobiles transiting to forrest trails. Our community is one of the very few where snowmobiles can use public roads to access nearby trails.
We have a Sheriff who lives in our community. He is a nice person but does his job.
We are also open to trading usage with other property owners on the West Coast, Hawaii, Western US.

Year Purchased: 1988
About the owner: Our family built this cabin in 1988-1989. We spent every weekend and all our vacation time for a year to build our dream. We rent the cabin out to help pay for expenses of maintaining a second home. Many families have been coming back for years. Today we are threatened by an attempt to ban cabin owners from renting out their cabins on a nightly basis. We are fighting a legal battle to maintain the right to rent our cabin out for the enjoyment of other families and ourselves. Let us know if you want to help.
