We had a wonderful experience staying in this condo. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature (90-92), and the hot tub was awesome. We also enjoyed the fitness center and walking around the path surrounding the beautiful pond and fountain. The condo was a great location for people like us, who like to explore a lot of different areas rather than staying on the same beach every day. We loved Sanibel Island, especially Bowmans Beach, and we loved Lovers Key State Park on Ft. Myers Beach. We had a great day Kayaking on Tarpon Bay and the mangrove trail that can be accessed there. We shopped at the outlet stores across the street and got some great deals. We were very impressed with how quickly the owner (Jim) got back to us from the very first inquiry. He was easy to deal with and we appreciated his attentiveness. We also enjoyed the gift basket that was waiting for us when we arrived. A very nice touch!!! We hope to visit the area again, and we would definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend this place without qualms to family and friends!Owner response: We do hope they come again. This vacation rental was a most rewarding experience for us and our 15 year old son. We had only the week between Christmas and New Year available for our trip, and the condo and the weather allowed us to have maximum relaxation and sightseeing. The location is wonderful - convenient to Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Edison Ford Winter Estates, trips to Naples, Everglades, etc., not to mention the Bunche Beach park just a mile down the road. That's a great place to watch a sunset. The condo community is modest in size, nicely laid out, indoor parking for each unit, and is off the main drags and quiet. The condo itself is spotless - we felt right at home and welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. The welcome basket and note ensured that, and Jim called the next day to make sure all was well. All amenities supplied, good wireless wi-fi, cable TV (not that we watched much). As an aside, the pictures and earlier comments are outdated - the TVs are now modern flat-screen models in both living area and master bedroom. If you don't want ocean swimming, the pool is great, and the exercise room and library are good. The community is very well maintained, and a good place for walking in its own right. Extremely convenient to restaurants, Publix super market, and a large outlet mall. Rating as high as the condo and the location is the care and concern of the owners, Jim and Nicole. They are wonderful hosts, and we truly hope to come back to this area again - still lots to see and do - and would happily book this condo for a longer stay. We would highly recommend this for any couple or family group.Owner response: This was a last minute rental and we were able to get it turned around quickly. We typically need 3 weeks of turnaround time to get approval for the lease, but we were able to get this turned around in under 2 as our management company is very easy to deal with and will work with us. I just remembered that we need to update the pictures as we have a new 40 inch flatscreen in the living room and a 24 inch flatscreen in the bedroom.

A quiet, peaceful place. We loved it! The listing description was accurate in terms of location, layout and amenities. The property was SPARKLING clean, truly a joy to walk in to. Cleanliness makes all the difference. Jim called us when we arrived to ensure we made it okay, and there was a beautiful gift basket waiting for us. How thoughtful - and kind! We could call them at any time for assistance. Laundry facilities excellent - clean. We had paper products to use (toilet paper, paper towels), much appreciated. This was an accessible place, great for someone with a walker or a wheelchair. In our case, this was good for my mom and she was so appreciative of the walk-in shower and bars in the bathroom area. The pool was HEAVEN! Clean and quiet, likely due to time of year. We did find that some things in the condo require updating, but this was nothing major; I don't want to take away from our wonderful experience. As examples the TVs were very old, heavy models (i.e. not flat screen) and the master bedroom tv was a little blurry. What would be helpful is a guide for us technically challenged individuals on how to use the various converters and how to maneuver the tvs. Again, nothing major, but bedroom end tables and lamps were extremely wobbly (lamps sort of falling apart), a little inconvenient. The lighting in the dining room was very hot, and very bright (glare) and air circulation in that room could use perhaps a mobile fan (??) However, there was nothing that would prevent us from recommending this place to others. It was a great, great experience and these owners deserve to have people stay there and earn money from their stay. There is care put into the home. Customer service - TRULY EXCELLENT. After having stayed in a house over Christmas 2011 where the owner/managers were dishonest and very self-serving, Sanibel View was a joy. It was everything that Jim said it would be. Thank you Jim and Nicole! We are so glad we decided to book with you and we are richer for the experience.Owner response: We have plans on our next trip down to swap out the TV in the bedroom with a Flat Screen, and tighten up those lamps and end tables. It sounds as if someone replaced the bulbs in the dining room chandelier with higher wattage bulbs which is why it's hot and there is glare. There is a ceiling fan in the living room that cools down both the living room and the dining room.

We selected this condominium primarily for it's location. It's entrance is off of a road with little traffic and has access to two major streets. The beach is on that same road for those who would like to spend time there. A gas station, grocery store and outlet mall are within walking distance. Many restaurants are also near by. The condo was clean with many amenities. A walking path and pool are also available. A garage on the main level provided security for our car, although it's a little small if you have an SUV. The owner was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this unit.Owner response: The garage can be a little tight if you are parking an SUV, but it fits OK. We learned that you have to approach the garage from the west side of the building to give yourself enough room, and our SUV goes right in.

We arrived home yesterday after our stay in this wonderful Ft. Myers condo. What a great experience...it was all that we hoped for and more. The location is so close to Sanibel Island and all the major shopping areas. The complex itself is immaculate and beautifully landscaped and maintained. Also, there is no shortage of great restaurants to chose from. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner and his family who were very attentive to our questions and went out of their way to accomodate us. We were beyond satisfied with our experience and would love to return soon.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Sanibel View condo is in a great location and we felt very secure in the gated community. It’s centrally located and convenient for Ft Myers, Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel, Bonita Springs and other SW Florida locations for sightseeing, shopping, etc. The beaches are nearby, as well as a lot of good restaurants. The condo is clean, and amenities are excellent. All linens and towels are supplied, and the kitchen is well supplied with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, gadgets and utensils. The owner was a pleasure to deal with at every level. He was prompt with answers to all of our questions. He and his family made us feel welcome and they were genuinely concerned that our stay was enjoyable. He was also prompt with return of the security deposit. We had a great time visiting and would highly recommend it. Thank you for making our stay memorable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: When we go away on a vacation or holiday, our expectation is that we are going to be treated well and that we are going to get good value for our money. And it's with that same attitude that we treat the travelers who decide to stay with us. We want our travelers to have a nice, stress free time. And as a result, many decide to book with us again next year. We also have the added advantage of having our family that are local to the area manage the property for us in lieu of a management company. That really adds a personal touch to how we handle things.

This was our first experience with a condo rental in Florida and we were not disappointed! The owners went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. From the moment we entered the cool & serene condo unit, after a long journey by car, we instantly felt at home! The condo is bright, clean, quiet and fully equipped. The location is more than ideal; being able to walk to the Publix, the beach and the nearby outlet shops is a huge plus for travellers weary of driving! We walked to the beach twice each day. The condo complex features a "man-made" beach for those more lazy days as well as a swimming pool. We were so very pleased with the accommodation we booked for 2012! This time we will bring our bicycles.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: This condo is about a short 10 minute walk down the road to Bunche Beach which the county upgraded the facilities last year. When my wife and I use the condo, we walk there twice a day too!

This condo was wonderful, full of light, very bright, and very clean. The owners were very friendly and easy to deal with, and there was a gift basket waiting for us when we arrived loaded with goodies. It added a very nice touch since we were worn out from a long day of travelling. The location was perfect as you can walk over to the shopping center that had a Publix Supermarket where I was always running over to pick up a few things. My husband doesn't get around too well, and this unit is just steps away from the elevator. The bathrooms had the safety railings like we had at home so there were no worries about him slipping or falling in the shower. We actually felt that this was our "home away from home" when we stayed there, and we look forward to going back again next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely condominium. The pictures don't do it justice as it looks so much brighter and warmer in person. The condo was very clean and well maintained, and the owner went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The condo was within walking distance to Bunche Beach which is just across the bay from Ft. Myers Beach, but without the crowds and hassle of crossing the bridge. Also within walking distance was the a shopping center with a Publix Super Market where you can pick up a few things without having to get into your car. The Causeway to Sanibel Island is about a mile away and no trouble to get to whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this property to my family or friends who are looking for a great vacation in the Sanibel/Ft. Myers area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo was absolutely beautiful! The central location to the beach, restaurants and tiki bars was perfect, as well as the lake and view outside the building. The amenities in the condo were far more than we expected. We have stayed at other condos but always brought our own provisions. We now know that when we come here again, we will only need our clothes and personal toiletries. That will make our lives so much easier with packing. You and your family made us feel so welcome and for that we thank you. We have so many beautiful memories of our vacation because of our stay at this location We hope to visit again soon. Thank you again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
