My daughter and family were driving down from WA State and we were driving up from Napa county, arriving within 5 minutes of each other to the Anchor House, which allowed us to ex-plore the house together. There are no words to discribe just how open and spacious it was, as well as the breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean as we opened up the blinds. We spent a wonderful week exploring Bandon and beyond. We visited the Fort Ord lighthouse and had a beautiful view of the Bandon lighthouse from a little restaurant called the "Phoenix grill" Went to the West Coast Game Park, golfed at the public 9 hole, golf course just up the road from the Anchor House, visited the "Bandon Arts Fair" on the boardwalk, eat ice cream and fresh crab sandwiches there as well. A grocery store was on Hwy 101 about 10 mins. away, which had every-thing we needed to enjoy meals at the house in the ample size kitchen with the beautiful ocean-view. The walks on the beach to explore the exposed sea creatures at low tide was exciting. I can't say enough about our wonder stay at the Anchor House and the enjoyment of having my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren for a whole week. It was truely a vacation for all of us. Thank's to the Grahams for opening their house to total strangers, we will return I am sure! Thank you, Fran, Bob, Susan, Jon, Abby and EthanRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

We stayed at the Anchor House last spring. The house was extra spacious, spotless, comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything you needed. The views were outstanding and the location was so quiet and close to the beach. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
