Appartement fantastique!

This beautiful apartment was a perfect retreat after each day of busy sightseeing in Florence. Although located in the bustling city heart, the apartment itself is quiet and serene, offering a backdrop of tranquility once one enters the building through the tall wood doors on the street. It is well appointed with lovely fixtures, fine bed linens, and any home items one could need. It enhanced our visit to Florence very much and I hope to be able to return to Florence and rent it again.

Even after reading all the wonderful reviews, the apartment exceeded my expectations. It is in a perfect location just blocks from The Duomo and the Mercado Centrale, loads of shopping and dining right outside the door. Despite this, the apartment couldn't be more quiet, comfortable and gorgeous. There was literally nothing it was lacking. I recommend to anyone looking for a charming, authentic Florence apartment. So much better than a hotel!

The apartment is situated right in the center of the old town of Florence. Everything is within walking distance. Very good restaurants are only about 3 minutes walk away. The apartment is very luxurious with lovely furniture. There is a well equipped kitchen, a living room area, a master suite with bathroom and a second bedroom also with its own bathroom. The style of the furnishings is very individual and very fitting to old building style of the building. Coming to electronics of the apartment: There are three air-conditioning units that can quickly bring down the heat. Downside to these is that they switch off when the key is removed along with all other sockets. There are three TVs. So there is no trouble if people have different tastes in channels or movies. Last is the high speed internet router, which makes for excellent surfing.

I am a world traveler and I like 5 star hotels so my standards are very high. Only the best in everything. Rita, the owner, has furnished the interior with only quality items....the bed, mattresses, washer, dryer, kitchen appliances (there is everything-even a juicer) All top brands. The decor is elegant and stylish. It is in the bustling heart of florence yet the interior terrace lets you hear birds singing. Then walk outside on a 16th century street and you are right where everything is happening. This beautifully preserved (high beamed ceilings with tiles) is 500 years old and perfectly maintained. It is a home, not a rental unit, with over 10 orchids spread out over this huge space. The second bedroom is very separate so privacy is assured. The jacuzzi, the best shower in the second bedroom all perfect. I just had my knee replaced and the 40 steps were easy to navigate because it is a grand staircase broken up into 6 phases. Rita and claudio and Maria all made our stay easy...on time at check in and check out. helpful with any questions we had. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

This was an absolutely amazing appartment. It was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, wonderfully located and just perfect in every way. All the rooms are very large and very elegent (apart from the kitchen which, although small, had everything needed). We booked this on the recommendation of someone who had stayed there previously and we were very pleased we did - not one single problem and absolutely no regrets. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it and am scheming as to how I can go back. You really should book this. Perfectly located in the centre - 10 minutes walk to the the Duomo and Uffizi. Whatever you needed (even umberellas in case of rain), it was there. There was television, music, books, etc for a quiet evening. A pizzeria downstairs and supermarkets up the street meant you could easily eat-in - something we did most days. (Although we did go out afterwards for ice-cream). The only possible issue is the lack of a lift - the appartment is on the second floor, but with the high ceilings that is like going up 4 flights of stairs so if you have mobility problems, this will not do..

This was a nicely decorated, spacious apartment. We enjoyed meals in the dining room and hanging out on the patio and living area late in the evenings. The property was clean and well-equipped, including a library of materials on Florence. The management company was easy to work with and kept in communication with us until we arrived. The only drawbacks were that even though it says the apt. is on the second floor, there is no elevator, and 49 steps up to the unit were a lot by the end of our stay, but it gave us a lot of laughs and no one gained weight on our trip! Also, the second bedroom is more for children as there are two twin beds at either side of the room with a small bathroom containing the washer and dryer. The master bedroom is spacious with a jacuzzi tub. I would recommend this apt. as long as people understand the steps and bedroom situation. The location was great and that is what matters.

We just returned from our one-week stay at the Via Ginori apartment. It was precisely as advertised - beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable. You cannot beat the location - it truly is steps away from everything -- markets, important sites, the railroad station, and a very quick cab ride to the Florence airport. The drawbacks are as stated (for us it was the lack of shower in the master bedroom - we did not find the walk up the stairs to be as bad as others, although hauling the suitcases up and down, especially after collecting 10 bottles of wine to bring home in our luggage, was challenging for my husband and son!). What we loved most, other than the quiet and the central location, was the feeling that we were living like real Florentines, from the tiny kitchen to the gorgeous beamed ceilings and the terrazo. A few things to keep in mind: we did not realize that we would only have one key connected to the electric card, so you can't really split up and go in different directions unless you are clear about meeting up to return to the apartment. Also, all the lights go out (except kitchen and laundry and entryway) when you remove the electric card - we strongly advise bringing a power strip with a converter (naturally) so that if you need to charge your electronic devices (phones, laptops, ipads, kindles) in your absence, you can do so in one or more of the outlets that remain "electrified" when you are out. We highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Owner response: Thank you very much for your review! We are really glad to accommodate our guests in a real Florentine house, 500 years old, but with all modern comforts. We think that it’s more convenient for our guest to be able to choose if enjoy a good shower or a refreshing whirlpool instead. Anyway the Jacuzzi tub has an hand shower, so you can have a shower even in the master bathroom, of course is easier to have it in the second bathroom. Thank you for the power strip suggestion, it’s already provided in the kitchen next to the microwave oven.

This well-appointed apartment was the perfect place to restore after busy days seeing sights in Florence. The Duomo/ San Lorenzo location was so easy to walk to everything...The beautiful decor and spacious lay-out made it a wonderful trip. I traveled with my ten year old son who adored his own room and had a friend stay over. They were separated enough from my bedroom that I did not hear a sound and they felt like they were in their own apartment! The linens are particularly beautiful, the place immaculate and stylish... Maria the housekeeper charming and helpful...Everything worked perfectly... The owners have thoughtfully put together a book with every possible piece of information and I appreciate them for that help.(taxis, grocery stores) I have told others about it and would return in an instant. I would give it a 5 star rating!!

What a wonderful complement to a stay in Florence! So often, vacation rentals are cheaply furnished with yard-sale leftovers -- that is NOT the case with this apartment. It is beautifully, and thoughtfully, decorated and furnished, with a delightful blend of traditional and modern appointments. Extremely comfortable beds with down pillows/comforters; comfortable and elegant bathrooms with thick towels on towel warmers + jacuzzi tub; oversize windows in every room that let in as much light and air as desired; delightful outdoor terrace; worn stone, terra cotta, marble, exposed brick, original wood beams that somehow all work together. I can't imagine who wouldn't be delighted to stay here -- even the most discriminating traveler -- with the possible exception of individuals for whom the three flights of stairs (no elevator) would be a problem. Apartment has 4 main rooms: 2 BR (one quite large), large living room, kitchen/dining room. 2 large bathrooms (1 of which has modern good-sized washer/dryer), an entry hallway, outdoor terrace off the living room and small half-bath/utility room complete the layout. High (15-ft or so) ceilings throughout make the apartment very airy. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, so two couples could share the apartment comfortably. You are undeniably living in your own genuine Renaissance palazzo with the Medici as your next-door neighbors--but you still have every modern convenience at your fingertips. The owner has done a marvelous job pulling this off. The Via Ginori is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the main train station, no car or taxi required. As you walk up Via Ginori, at next corner from the apartment is a Centro supermarket that has all the food/wine and other supplies you might need. The street itself is very quiet at night--we heard no street noise at all in the evening, even with windows open--which is not the case for other streets that have more traffic. So much of visiting Florence is about art and beauty and being able to touch the Renaissance--if you stay here, that experience continues even after your sightseeing is done for the day. If that matters to you, you should stay here. For the price, this is a remarkable value.

Lovely apartment in the city centre, just a few steps from the central market and the Duomo ! It is very nicely decorated, very comfortable and very clean. Once you arrive, it looks much better than in the photos, it has a lot of details that give it a personal touch and a warm atmosphere ! It's really very pleasant. We were welcomed right at the entry of the building - it was a lovely attention ! Everyone was very helpful and kind - and we thank Maria for having called the taxi for us. It's definitely a very nice place to stay in Florence - it was our third time in that lovely city and this apartment is certainly the best we've stayed in for a winter Holiday. It is also very comfortable for long stays since it has both a washing and drying machine. We would really be delighted to return there for our next holiday in Florence.

What a lovely apartment right in the heart of Florence. Literally next door to a Medici palace and a 2-minute walk to the Duomo. The apartment is truly beautiful and was so comfortable for our family. We travel a lot, and this is probably the best rental we have ever stayed in. It is spacious, well furnished, and perhaps most important, has great AC (very important for us, as it was 100 F when we visited)! The owner has thought of everything--the flat is spotlessly clean, the bathrooms are fitted out with high-end hardware, the dishes are pretty and durable, even the linens are high-quality. We loved the peacefulness of overlooking the courtyards, slept like babies. Wonderful find!

This apartment is the perfect spot from which to enjoy Florence. Situated in the historic centre, it's possible to walk everywhere. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave in August and were very grateful for the air conditioning. The apartment is well equipped, beautifully furnished and a chic, spacious space in which to relax. We had a lot of luggage so two floors of stairs were not ideal with no lift but if you travel light this won't be a problem. Will be recommending it to friends.

This is a well equipped and tastefully furnished apartment, and in a convenient central location just 10 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the Duomo. There has been a lot of thought put into providing for guests, from kitchen implements to bathrooms to the crisp white bed linen: even the comprehensive file of operating instructions for the washer, dryer and other equipment. It's beautifully furnished, and although close to busy streets it is pleasantly quiet and relaxing. Booking and communication is very efficient and helpful. The wifi access was very useful (the apartment would be suitable for business as well as leisure stays). Although personally we didn't find the steps a problem (wide staircases, good lighting), they could obviously be a factor for some people (but the description of the property does make this very clear). Two other points to mention (intended constructively and in no way negatively) are that the kitchen area is small - so one cook at a time! - and that the elegant furnishings might make parents of smaller children slightly wary of accidental breakages! Overall, this is an impressive apartment, right in the heart of a beautiful city, and a great place to stay whilst exploring the many treasures and delights that Florence has to offer!

This apartment is exactly as in the photos. Also quiet, well equipped, had airconditioning and was supplied with soap, laundry detergent, tea etc. Mattresses were new and comfortable. Location was very central. A Carrefour grocery store was on the corner or you can walk a few blocks to the central market, where you can get fresh pasta to prepare in the kitchen. It is on the 3rd floor, which we didn't mind, but could be an issue for some.

Our family of four (two adults and two teens) just completed a stay in this lovely Florence apartment. EVERYTHING is as advertised--a convenient central location, plush amenities, and great hosts. The flat is just half a block from the Piazza di San Lorenzo, on the same block as the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, and only a 10 minute walk from the central rail station. It's about halfway between the Duomo and Galleria dell' Accademia. The owner accommodated us for a slightly early arrival. The flat was immaculate when we checked in. Although we were very lucky with mild weather (for July), we were still grateful for the three air conditioners. The apartment itself is beautiful--every bit as stunning as the photos. Our only regret was not taking better advantage of the fresh food vendors at the Mercato Centrale, which is two blocks away. If we are lucky enough to return to Florence, we will be sure to try to rent this flat again. We highly recommend it! Happily, The Ribars (dave.ribar at gmail.com)

3 of us stayed here for a week and loved it. Location is very central which allowed us to walk everywhere. It is also close to the train station (~12min. walk) which was useful for our train trip to Pisa as well as a cheap taxi ride (~ 10 Euro) when we left Florence for Rome by train with our heavy luggage. Air conditioning worked very well in the heat of summer and it was in the mid-30's when we were there. We found the travel guides and map for Florence/Italy very useful and used it daily. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, oil, spices etc for cooking which we did on one occasion. The washing machine and dryer worked wonderfully. In fact everything was amply provided for and the apartment is extremely clean and well maintained. Claudio was there to explain everything to us when we arrived and I was thankful for his help with our luggage up the stairs. Speaking of which, the stairs is the only thing to be aware of. There are a lot of steps going up to this 2nd floor apartment (no lift) which can be a bit tiresome after a long day or when you go out 2 or 3 times a day which is what we did. It was so hot so we went out in the morning but came back after lunch for a siesta before going out in the evening. But great exercise if you are up for it. Overall a fantastic apartment that looks better than presented in the photos and Yes, we would definitely stay there again. Best restaurant that we tried in Florence is Oliviero in Via delle Terme. Pricey but great food and excellent service.

Everything written in the description for this beautiful apartment along with the pictures is 100% accurate. Once you walk into the apartment, though, you will realize that the owner did not mention that you will feel like you are living in a dream for the length of your stay! My wife, daughter, niece and I visited Florence the first week of June 2011 and stayed here for the week. We booked the apartment late last year through homeaway.com, and right from the beginning everything went smoothly. Rita (owner) immediately responded to the emails, and answered all of our questions thouroughly and quickly. We had to change our dates and that was done without any problem. The apartment is very close to the street market, several fine restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, etc. The central food market, train station, and, as mentioned, several of the museums and other sites are all within walking distance. The apartment building itself is very safe and in a well lit area of the city. When we arrived, Claudio was waiting for us at the front door as soon as we stepped out of the taxi, helped us with the luggage and gave us the tour and the details of the stay at the apartment. During the week we had a slight problem with the hot water, but this matter was resolved quite expeditiously. Open the curtains and natural sunlight filled the rooms. The patio is a good size and there are many plants to make you feel like you are eating your lunch in a little garden. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make your meals. The wifi internet, washer and dryer, gas stove, coffee maker, air conditioning, CD player and all other appliances were all very new and worked perfectly. We did not use the television, DVD player, or Jacuzzi. I agree with the other person who posted about the shower in the main bedroom being a bit of a nuisance; it is difficult to take one without splashing on the floor, but the shower in the second bedroom was perfect. As if the layout and historic structure of this apartment (the frescoed frieze, royalty emblem, classic wood beamed ceiling, tile work) is not magnificent in itself, there is the refined beauty of the furniture, artwork, and other items throughout the rooms, that gives the home a very welcoming climate and a true Italian flair. The price is very reasonable; I highly recommend this as a rental.

Stayed here a week in May with 3 girlfriends. The apartment is more than we expected, fully equipped, totally secure, and spacious with everything you need for your stay and more (special books, music, kitchenware and a full book of operating instructions and area info) The furnishings and linens are very nice and the terrace provided a great vista of the courtyard. We loved having 2 1/2 baths and washer and dryer. The host's son provided a wonderful orientation on arrival and was available when we needed him for info on a train strike. We loved coming back to our quiet, cool home in the midst of the day for a special meal prepared from market purchases. The apt is in the center of everything. You can walk everywhere. The stairs allowed us to work off any extra calories. The only negative is that the master bathroom tub needs a "real" shower. The 2nd bedroom is long and narrow and a little dark. Nevertheless, we would definitely rent this apt again and would highly recommend it.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Owner response: Thank you for your excellent and detailed feedback! I appreciate your suggestion about installing a shower instead of the Jacuzzi tube in the master bathroom. But most of our guests prefer to have a real shower in the second bathroom and a Jacuzzi tube in the master bathroom. The second bedroom is not large as the master bedroom (more than 20 square metres excluding the bathroom!), but I don't think that is dark: there are two big windows. Of course if the shutters are partially closed it becomes a little dark. Even the bright pictures on our website are realized only using the sun light! Thank you again!

My wife and son spent 8 nights at the Ginori Apartment. After a long day of travelling we arrived on a Thursday evening, we were met at the ground level by Claudio (Rita's son), who was very helpful with the luggage, tour of the apartment, and tour of the immediate neighborhood. We had more than enough space for our family of 3, having 2 full bedrooms, a large living room, 2 full bathrooms, and a dining room/kitchenette that doubled as a daily planning room to spread out maps, guidebooks, and laptop. There was nothing left out in this apartment -- on a down day we even watched a movie chosen out of the DVD library (Angels & Demons to prep us for our day trip to Rome), and the wireless access enabled us to find directions everywhere we needed and keep in touch back home. The apartment's location was perfect -- 15 minute walk to train station, 5 minutes to the Duomo, the Accademy, the Uffizi, and all of the wonderful shops and restaurants. Although the stairs and climb to the apartment's main floor might seem daunting, you are fully at peace once you arrive to your "home" away from home. Maria was right on time when we had to depart early AM for our flight back home. For those who question whether or not to rent an apartment vs. staying in a hotel, let me tell you that we have gone the apartment route 3 out of our 8 trips to Europe, and you achieve much much more in the way of space, independence, and value when renting an apartment. The Ginori Apartment exceeded our expectations, and we truly recommend it to any traveler or family spending time in Florence.

Everything was perfect with our stay at the Ginori apartment in Florence. It was so clean, everything sparkled and everything was exactly in it's place. They seemed to have thought of simply everything. Service was impeccable with everyone exactly on time for check in and check out. We were even met at the street on arrival so we knew as we unloaded our luggage from the cab tat we had found the right place. The colors, style and design of the decor are gorgeous. The website pictures come close but are not as beautiful as the real property. All the furniture is very comfortable and well placed. The location of the property is absolutely ideal so you can walk to all the major Florence attractions. We recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence.

We stayed here for 7 nights from the 27th of December 2010. What a stunning apartment, after we got over the shock of the 49 steps to the apartment. Luckily with Claudio's help with the Suitcases (Thanks Claudio!!) it was so much easier. The impression on entering is of a beautiful, elegant apartment. The photos do not do it justice. Maria who looks after it had done a great job, it smelt of flowers and there was candles shimmering in the fireplace. The masterbedroom is a haven and the jacuzzi bath is a gods send for aching feet after walking around all day. A real delight when coming back for a rest. Rita and family where very good with the booking proceedures and any information we needed, and booking taxis. A truly comfortable stylish stay is guranteed. Also the hotel facilities of towelling robes, slippers, shower cap, shower gel, soap, tissues, sewing kit, absolutely everything you could need is provided - good to know if you are there for a short stay. What more could you ask for. A supermarket on the right a supermarket on the left. San Lorenzo Food Market and leather market is seconds away. You are next door to the Palazzo Medici Riccardi Palace. 5 minutes from the Duomo, 5 minutes from the Galleria Academia with Michelangelo's David. Go - you will not regret it - you will love it - Florence is waiting for you. Thanks Rita - we will be back !! Rosemary & Brian

We (a family of 5 with teenagers and parents) had a fantastic stay in this apartment in mid December 2010. It is superbly located, very close to the leather markets, very close to supermarkets, very close to "David" and the Uffizzi. The apartment was spotless, perfectly presented and worked wonderfully. It snowed whilst we were there, and having umbrellas turned out to be a great asset. The beds were very comfortable, linen sparkling clean, all amenities catered for. The owner helped us up with the luggage which was very helpful, as it is a couple of flights of stairs and there is no lift. I would recommend this high quality, superbly presented apartment to anyone. There is a good pizza restaurant below the apartment, and several restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend it and its excellent value for money.

Stayed here for part of my honeymoon in the middle of December. Apartment was better than expected, and location was perfect. The owner was very helpful explaining everything about the apartment. There's quite a few stair to climb, but it's not too bad, and after eating all of the great italian food, it was good for burning off some calories. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and would stay again if I'm ever in Florence again.

The online photos and description of this apartment are accurate and it is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Florence. We were there for 3 weeks and loved the convenience of this very central location. The apartment is extremely well maintained, spotless and features the kind of amenities of a normal home. We loved the decor as it reflects our own tastes. The internet booking process was very easy and the checkin/checkout were well managed. We would recommend this property to our friends and family.

The apartment on Ginori more than met our expectations. All of the comforts of home, quiet, clean, with a great location. Our 3.5 week stay from Oct. to Nov. gave us the opportunity to take day-trips via train to neighboring cities and the proximity to the train station was perfect for this. Besides that, we were within walking distance to everything that we wanted to visit in Florence. The manager was extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with at all times. All four of us would gladly stay at the apartment again and highly recommend the apartment to others.

I was fortunate enough to book this apartment for 3 1/2 weeks in Sept.-Oct. What a wonderful, comfortable experience. The owner was very attentive and helpful when I needed them. The location can't be beat, very private and quiet apt. I will certainly consider going back if I ever have the chance. While I was there, my girlfriends came to visit and it was easy for them to find the apt. by just grabbing a taxi from the airport or train station. The street in front of the apt. is open to one way traffic. The restaurant next to the apt. is good and the owners friendly. My overall impression and experience exceeded my expectations; from the cleanliness of the apt to the great customer service we received. I would whole heartedly recommend the Ginori Apt. to anyone planning a trip to beautiful Florence.

We enjoyed our stay in the Ginori apartment very much. It is perfectly located in the heart of the city just a few minutes walk from the Duomo. The apartment is quiet, pleasantly furnished with a delightful balcony. The kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. Our only recommendation for improvement would be to install a good shower in the en-suite bathroom rather than just a bath. The jacuzzi element of the bath was not working.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: Thank you for your review and the segnalation about the jacuzzi element! It was a not declared damage of a precedent guest: he inputted a little towel in the aspiration tube. Of course we repaired it as soon as possible and now it's working again.

Words cannot describe the absolute "beauty" of this apartment. Extremely clean, beautiful high end furnishings, great location near EVERYTHING (Down the street from the San Lorenzo Market, around the corner from Santa Maria della Fiore and a few blocks to the Piazza della Signoria. Just a few blocks to the Accademia Gallery to see Michaelagelo's DAVID). Outside the door a 100 feet to the right is a supermarket with everything. Never heard a sound from outiside even with the windows open. Apartment shaped like a "U" with the bedrooms positioned at opposite ends. Cafe's and restaurants everywhere. We felt very safe with our three daughters. The details of a stereo, CD's , travel literature for the area, toiletries, cleaning supplies, icooking spices, booklet of instructions, etc. were truly appreciated! Not a detail missed!!!!!!! We would certainly return! ITALIAN HOSPITALITY IS SECOND TO NONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy to write about our wonderful 5 day stay. Loved the flat, ideal location and great restaurants near by...Marios for lunch:) We were there with 3 kids ages 7-11-15, one slept on the living room sofa bed. Home is luxurious and comfortable, we moved some of the pretty glass decor to ensure no accidental breakage by our little one-especially loved the a/c in July. You all were so friendly and fabulous at our greeting. I would recommend some sort of shower curtain as it was a challenge to keep the water inside and a sofa table in the living room. Market just down the street so easy to get supplies. Grazi!

The design is beautiful and yet it keeps the Italy charm! I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying Florence...there is not a hotel in town that can match it.

Absolutely Amazing! I can't say enough about our experience at this apartment, I would highly recommend it and can't wait to return. It is beautifully appointed, spacious and has all the extra touches that make it so special. It was spotless, which is extremely important to us. Like the reviews posted already, they have thought of everything. Unfortunately it rained on and off most of the week so it was nice to come back to such a beautiful apartment to rest before dinner after being out in the rain all day. The location was excellent, everything was within a short walk, the Mercato Centrale, the Duomo, the Ponte Vechio , restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic time at this apartment. We got in quite a bit later than planned but the owner accomodated us very well, an inconvenience for them and we really appreciated the extra help, and the bottle of chianti on arrival didn't hurt! The central location is perfect for a first trip to florence, and the layout was great for a family with two children aged 11 and 13 (ie privacy very much needed for all concerned). As mentioned by others, the washer and dryer were sooo much appreciated, as were the little things like a supply of laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, soaps, sugar, salt, basic herbs and olive oil -- small inexpensive things but such a pain to have to get for yourself if you're only in town for four days. As others have mentioned, the place was super clean and outfitted to the highest standard. Everything was clear and organised. I really can't think of anything missing -- although to be super demanding, is there any chance you could put a small table to accompany the chairs in the beautiful sunny porch? No matter, we will be back soon. Thanks so much for making our holiday that much more perfect. I can't think of any way it could have been better. One thing is from reading other reviews, I'm not so sure about how six people would stay unless it was an extended family or people who knew each other well. It's not a matter of space -- there's plenty of that -- but the way it's divided up is ideal for one big family. Anyway for us it was absolutely perfect. Thanks so much.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment for 2 weeks and throughly enjoyed our stay. It was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. I think it was even nicer is person than on the website! The location of the apartment was perfect - we were within walking distance of all the major sights (Duomo, David, the Uffizi), restaurants, shopping, and the train station. The Mercato Centrale, which was a great place to go food shopping, was a 5 minute walk. Even though it is right in the middle of everything, once inside, the apartment was very quiet. We did not hear a peep of street noise. The apartment also has some nice extras like guidebooks, wireless internet, and DVDs. There is also a washer/dryer, which is useful if you are staying more than a few days. I found the owners pleasant, efficient and accomidating. I would definitley recommend staying here!

Even though the description of this property online is very accurate it is impossible to describe how beautiful, tasteful and comfortable it is without experiencing it. It is incredibly tranquil for an apartment in a city centre, which coupled with the comfortable beds ensures a good nights rest after a day sightseeing and shopping! The booking process was straightforward, the owners give clear instructions and everything went smoothly from an organisational viewpoint. We used the little local supermarket and the Mercato Centrale for food shopping..both very close to the apartment. We had a very good meal at the restaurant "underneath" the apartment, so convenient! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Florence.I hope to return in the future!

We were blown away when we walked into this gorgeous jewel of an apartment. We've stayed in many apartments in Italy, but this one was by far the best. The furnishing was incredible. Everything was perfect, like out of a magazine. It not only included extremely comfortable beds and sitting areas, but every possible amenity, including a washer and dryer and wi-fi access. The kitchen was adorable and had everything you may need. As for the location, it was steps away from a great bar and next door to a cosmopolitan pizza take out (or eat in) spot. It was just minutes from the Duomo and even closer to San Lorenzo and the Medici Tombs. The height muted all noise. The owners were helpful and very reliable. We had no trouble and we would definitely secure this apartment again in the future. Thank you for sharing your amazing jewel in the heart of Florence.

My friends and I loved staying here. The pictures are great, but the reality surpassed our wildest expectations. Beautifully decorated, scrupulously clean and in a perfect location. Decadent bathrooms, Frette linens, lovely terrace. Highly recommend, and can't wait to go back! n.b., the stairs might be a problem for some, but even dedicated overpackers like us managed ok.

We are well traveled and luxury hotels are the norm for us. Even with that background, this apartment impressed me more than even the best hotels in New York. A combination of great space, perfect location, and a luxurious décor is just the beginning. There was an element of professionalism that exceeded even my high expectations. Every detail was considered by these owners, yet it is oddly very affordable at the same time. If you double your prices, I’ll still be back. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. I have to say, this was such a special find. I have never planned a vacation like this before and was a little nervous about booking an apartment on line. The definition of this apartment was right on target. The only surprise was that it was even more charming that what you see on line! It was spotless and you could tell that there was a lot of thought and pride put into this place. I feel like we hit the jackpot with this apartment. We were a group of 6 vacationing in Italy for a total of 16 days and we had the pleasure of staying in this fantastic apartment for 7 days. The booking agent was very helpful and very prompt about answering any questions. The owner was very helpful by meeting us with a very late arrival time. We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. The owners really did their homework on making house guest feel at home. Everything from maps of the surrounding areas, to things to do in the area. They even put together a manual with every pamphlet of every appliance in the apartment, how to connect to the wireless internet and emergency phone numbers, closest grocery stores ect.The apartment was so much more spacious than what I thought it was from the pictures on line. We never felt like we were on top of each other, it was very spacious. The kitchen was a bit tight for what we are used to in the USA, but we made it work. We cooked in a few times and it was wonderful. From the moment I booked the apartment until the moment we left, was such a pleasurable experience. I would definatly recommend this property to family and friends. The location is in a perfect spot as well. We did not have a car, we did all our travels by train and foot and found it in a prime location and easy to get everywhere. Thanks for a great memory in what was the trip of my lifetime! I hope that someday I will be able to have the pleasure of staying in your property again.

Went to Florence with a few friends and found this apartment perfect for our time in Florence. The apartment is spacious, clean, well laid out, and wonderfully decorated. We loved the small balcony, as well as the neighborhood. There was a wonderful restaurant next door. In fact, you can look into the kitchen from the hall window, which we found charming. We appreciated having the internet connection and all the wonderful guide books that were provided. It is a perfect place to stay to explore all that Florence has to offer.
