  The listing and pictures on this sight are exactly the way we found it. It was simply a wonderful place for our vacation to the East coast. We used it as our base as we traveled to and from Maine and the greater Boston area, including Cape Cod. Our cottage/home for the week was very clean and excellently maintained. Joyce was a gracious host and a very friendly helpful guide. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas grill provided was an extra bonus. When you are traveling from the midwest such as we were, it was wonderful not having to worry about packing linens, towels, etc. Our little cabin had everything we needed for our week vacation. The beach was a short walk and the cool summer breeze was perfect on the front porch as we ate our breakfast. We would recommend this vacation property to anyone as it a very good value for your vacation $$$. Enjoy and relax as we did!

  Two friends and I just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at this property. We couldn't have asked for a better rental. Joyce was so pleasant and helpful in every way. She was there meeting our needs through out the entire week. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was easy access to the beach, and a great parking space provided with the rental. Plum Island is a quiet and pristine destination. Unlike other beaches it is quiet and yet close to Newburyport and beaches North. "Bob's Lobster" was nearly within walking distance and hailed great fresh seafood, either cooked and eat there, or take home. Needless to say we ate seafood from there several times. The Parker River Refuge Info Center was very interesting and worth the stop. I would recommend this rental to anyone. Joyce even had bikes that we could use to get around the Island. We are already making arrangements to stay there again next summer. Thank you Joyce and family for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Starr Bryce, Brookfield, VT.

  Our stay over Labor Day was great. We had a family birthday party and everyone had a good time. The weather was so-so during the week but there are plenty things to do nearby in Newburyport. It was a nice vacation and we will be looking forward to next year. The property was very clean and the location was great. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening.

  cozy and quaint (yes, somewhat small) but a great bargain. We stayed there in early to mid August - wonderful weather! The owner lives next door, she was very pleasant and friendly. She was eager to ensure that we had all we needed and that our stay was pleasant. The place is small, there was only my husband and me, would have been crowded with our grown children, but for the two of us, of if you have small children, plenty big enough. Two good sized bedrooms. The kitchen had the basics, as did the whole place, nothing fancy. The best parts of the house, the marsh breezes - wonderful, the front porch - super, and best of all - the parking spot the owner has secured for her tenants, right across from one of the best parts of the beach. Easy parking, quick walk to the beach. Overall, loved this place, the amenities are basic, but everything you need is there, the value for the money is unbeatable. After all, the reason you come to this wonderful place is the beach - and her access is TOP NOTCH. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.

  i would recomend this property. even though i did not stay in this cottage. my family an i stayed in one behind this one. the property owner has several cottages around in the area. the description of the property was accurate. clean inside an out. the owner made sure we comfortable, an informed on attrations beaches trips. even had the pleasure to check out another cottage that she was redoing an was better then the first. i would recomend this owner an property. an also will go back on vacation

  The cottage was accurate to the description given us. We were very pleased with the location for our journeys to the beach or elsewhere. Very comfortable accomendations which were clean and well maintained. Our owner was most accomendating with any request needed. Customer service was second to none......couldn't get any better. I would recommend this property to my best friend. It was everything I expected and more.

  Every day was perfect weather, took long bike rides every morning to Newburyport or the Refuge to where the pavement ends. Golfing at Evergreen was a nice nine. Beach was wonderful. House was perfect! Maybe the best vacation ever.
