Almost 50 years ago I married a Chicagoan and now I'm a snowbird. My husband can no longer climb our family cabin stairs so this luxurious condo was an answer to prayers. Not only was it pristine, the decor was fascinating. I loved breakfast on the balcony and sleeping with the bedroom door open so I could sleep in the cool breeze and crashing of the waves below us. Thank you for sharing your condo.

This condo was even more beautiful than the pictures on the Internet described. We loved it so much that we are actually going to decorate our home in the same way! Our favorite time was visiting with our friends at the cond, walking on the beach, fishing on the pier, shopping at the Outlet Mall in Foley and the Holy Spirit Thrift Store is awesome ( great quality clothes and prices). We loved spending time on the huge balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. As always we love to eat at Lamberts.

Love the condo! It was plenty of room and we really appreciated the three bathrooms. Thank you so much William and Kathy for sharing your lovely beach condo with our family. We loved watching the dolphins play, building sand castles,playing football on the beach, walking on the beach, playing in the pool and sitting on the awesome big balcony and listening to the ocean. It was so nice just to spend time with family.

We enjoyed having some family time together. This trip included 3 generations in our family. It was so nice to get everyone together for some good quality time. We all lead such busy lives and sometimes its nice to " be still asnd know that He is God." This was the perfect place to do that in. I encourage you to sit out on the balcony and reflect on John 3:16, If you are looking for a church to attend during your stay I recomend Lagoon Baptist on HWY 180

The weather was nice in the 70's No rain! We cooked in alot and the condo had everything we needed. The condo is wonderful. It has all the comforts of home. Very nicely decorated and comfortable for the whole family. Higly recommend this condo. This is our third year to stay.

This property is like a home, not like rental property. There are so many things provided that make it feel like you live here, not a stripped to the bone rental property. Complete with a brand new washer and dryer, spices, cleaning products and the most amazing decor. Also games and books and baby pack and play and little colorful chairs for them to enjoy. We watched the dolphins play this morning as we had coffee on the balcony. The owners definitely know about hospitality as they have not overlooked any details. If there is something you forgot, most likely they have provided it. An amazing place for a family to vacation. Because of all the media about the oil spill the beach was almost private. The water was crystal clear and beaches were the most beautiful white sand no trace of oil at all and hardly anyone here. We picked up lots of shells and built sand castles. Looking forward to my next visit.

The weather was rainy for three days. Then mostly sunny w/scattered showers. We cam to relax and play cards and games. Used the pool one day. We cook our own food! this is our werd year together @ Gulf Shores. there are eight of us who have been friends forever. the condo is great! Beautifully decorated with a wonderful view. The weather was typical scattered thunderstorms-80s warm and breezy..Sunny at times. Our favorite adventure this trip was to leave our worries behind, relax and recharge! The weather was sunny most everyday! Our favorite adventures"The Track"-the kids had a ball on all the gocart tracks. The outlets at Tanger, playing on the beach and pool, building a sand"dog" and parasailing-it's much cheaper down at the "sea wind? parasailing. This was an awesome condo-and a great destination for a fun-filled relaxing vacation. A big thanks to the "bests"for sharing your lil piece of heaven w/ all of us. The weather was perfect! 80's with a breeze in the mornings & evenings, 90's w/ a slight breeze during the day-only 1 thunderstorm during the night. Our favorite adventure was Parasiling! It was so peaceful! We were up in the air and could see for miles! Swimming in the ocean, swimming in the pool, morning coffee on the balcony, saw dolphins almost everyday 50 feet from shore! Weather was 91-99 w/heat index at 100. Hot Nice breeze though. Went to Waterville-expensive but the kids love it. We spent most of our time under our 2 pop=up tailgating tents. Came with family this year 15 people total. Fun times!!!The men in the group went deep sea fishing. Caught more fish than we could eat! My 11 year old son caught the biggest one of all..Also the men went to watch the Blue Angels practice in Pensacola. The Best family is great to rent from. This is our 2nd time to stay here. Beautiful condo. Kids love it. We'll be back next year! We love it here.

I have attended the Shrimp Festival since 1993 and found this wonderful condo three years ago. I've rented it every year since and it is simply the best and most comfortable I have been in. You feel so at home and Kathy provides the best amenities around. The sheets and beddings are luxurious, Bath & Body soaps, Yankee candles, complete cookware and serving pieces. You really don't need to bring a thing because the place is very well stocked. Kathy is an outstanding hostess and great to work with. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous Mid 70s everyday, a little windy several days. We spent several days hanging on the beach, sunning, playing in the water and of course skimming the waves. The Dolpin cruise was wonderful adn we rented jet skiis. Had a great week. Loved the Condo. It was just enought room for the 5 of us. Beautiful decorated and everything you need is here. The view is absolutely breath taking. We miss sitting on the balcony drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise in the mornings and watching the sunsets in the evenings. The condo decor is so lovely. I can't even begin to describe it. We have stayed in many condos and most put furniture in just to get by. Not this condo!! You can tell the owners care deeply about their place. It was very comfortable and you felt right at home. It had everything you could possibly need as far as being equip. The owners are awesome. It was such a nice surprise to walk in and find a card and hot cocoa sitting on the table. I have never had that. Even our children were excited by that. We were only suppose to stay one week. Because we loved the place so much we ended up adding two days onto our stay. As a Christmas present to each other me and my husband do a trip to the beach for a week every year right after Christmas. We will being staying in the Best's condo again. Tammie & Danney Mitchell

We just got back from our wonderful, relaxing vacation in beautiful Gulf Shores. This condo is outstanding!! The decorating was very "beach festive" and comfortable. The view was stunning. I'll miss my moring coffee time on the balcony. Kathy was very helpful and accomodating with every aspect of our stay. The condo was so well stocked. Something to note, the keyless entry doorlook is very convenient........no keys necessary and you can change the code to personalize (makes it eaiser for everyone to remember). Not every unit had this but we SO appreciated that this unit did and that we never had to worry about keeping track of a key. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Another Great Stay! We were here last year at the same time. The condo is great. We especially love the view from the large balcony overlooking the beach. We love eating our breakfast on the balcony! Weather was a little chilly a few mornings but the sun was warm and out for most of our stay. There is a Pier 33 market right across the street and is great for last minute pick ups and souveneirs. This is a great family experience if you never have enough time to spend with your family or if they live somewhere else. We would like to come back again to the Island Royale. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I spent many hours searching the internet for the perfect condo for our family get away. This was it. The condo was decorated beautifully and was very clean. We spent a month in this condo and found it to be exceptionally clean, well decorated and supplied with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The location gave us easy access to explore South Alabama and Florida. We tried restaurants in Gulf Shores, Bon Secour, Magnolia Springs, Fairhope, Foley, Pensacola and everywhere in between. One of the best assets of the condo is the view both from the balconey and windows by the dining room table. This is a good place to relax and renew one's spirit. The owners were very helpful.

Based on comfort, cleanliness, safety and amenities, this is one of the nicest condominiums I have rented. Not only was it great, but Kathy the owner was very wonderful to work with. I visited with my 4 year old and my parents. The house suited everone's needs. My father injured his hip the week before. It was an easily accessible unit and complex for him. He was glued to the balcony with the great views and was especially thrilled with seeing the pelicans and other neat birds that flew by at eye level. My four year old son was the one that spotted the condo on the internet. He loved the decor, dolphins, books, videos. Needless to say, he particularly loved the beach, pool, shells, and raft collection. The people that we interacted, both staff, owners and guests were very nice. Whenever I travel, I have to be concerned with cleanliness, pet dandor, etc, as my son has severe allergies and asthma. His health was wonderful during our visit. We hope to return next year! I appreciated the video surveilance and felt very safe. Ben, the maintenance man was very wonderful. I highly recommend this condominium.

We had the best time on our April 2007 vacation. Our two young daughters had a blast in the kids suite, and loved watching the dophins off of the balcony. My husband and I couldn't believe how nicely decorated and well appointed the whole condo was. It's amazing for a rental. It was also quite a value, especially when you are looking for something a little luxurious but still affordable. We had a wonderful time, and will come back again as soon as we can. Dear Kathy and William, I had to add a comment about our stay in your lovely condo at Island Royal. My 25 year old granddaughter, Emily, and I spent Christmas there and it was just perfect. The location was great for getting to anywhere you wanted to go and the view awesome from that great balcony. We hope to do this again next year and we will certainly get in touch with you if this works out. It was so easy dealing with you and not a rental agent. Our family had a wonderful time during our stay August 7-14, 2004. Being Alabama natives, we've vacationed in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach multiple times over the years. This was our first experience with VRBO and it proved to be very pleasant and easy! It was especially nice dealing directly with the owners rather than a management company. The condo is beautiful-we all had our own space but spent time together as a family (great for those preteen/teenagers and little ones who have early bedtimes).The kitchen is very well stocked. It was REALLY GREAT to use the door keypad instead of having to keep up with a key while on the beach. Pier 33 across the street came in handy when we needed a few extra groceries/beach items but didn't want to drive down the street. We also enjoyed walking down the beach to Bahama Bob's and having lunch and dinner. The beach area is not as narrow as it is with some of the larger condo complexes so there was never a problem with finding a spot to drop our things! We'd reccomend the Best's Island Royale unit to anyone headed to the Alabama Gulf Coast!

My family & I stayed the week of June12-June 19, 2004. We truly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very relaxing and comfortable. The view from the balconies were wonderful. The beach was beautiful and very laid back. My family & I could not believe how everyone respected each others belongings(such as beach chairs, etc.) This was our first vacation to Gulf Shores but I know it will not be the last. I highly recommed the condo you are currently viewing(36703). When the owners of this unit(36703) tell you something, they follow through. The owners even called to make sure we arrived and that everything was okay. Thanks for a wonderful vaction!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at your condo. From the keyless entry system to the balcony overlooking the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores, this condo was everything it was advertised to be. Each room has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated for maximum enjoyment. Most condos with a front bedroom overlook a parking lot. This one has it's own awesome view of the lagoon with fantastic sunsets. The beds were extremely comfortable! One of our favorite things was the rooftop hot tub. This was a great condo & I would recomend it to anyone!

We got lots of seashells and saw dolphins swimming out in the ocean from your peaceful balcony. The beach is so calming for my spirit and lets me know God is... We enjoyed your lovely home. The view is terrific! The warmth and comfort we found was so welcoming. While we wish it could have been warmer outside,your home certainly made up for it.
