Beautifully redone home in historic downtown Lewes --walk 1 block to Lewes shops and restaurants, the Delaware Canal and Canalfront Park. Walk to Lewes beach. A short drive to Cape Henlopen State Park. Out of the hustle and bustle of surrounding beach communities, Lewes is a unique town -- but Route 1 with outlet shopping and more is only a quick drive away for those who wish to go there. This beautifully appointed home is a wonderful place for 1-3 couples to come and enjoy Lewes for a long weekend or week. Really not suitable for young children.
We rent for a limited time in the summer if you are interested!

One could not ask for a more charming home in a most charming town. Susan, the owner, was so accommodating and friendly. The house had everything one could want from comfy beds and homey atmosphere to lovely antiques! We fell in love with it. We ate and shopped our way throught historic Lewes, only a two-block walk. Several beaches a short car or bike ride a way, and everyone was so nice and friendly. This is not your typical beach home or resort town; they are so much more. Hated to leave and can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
